On our annual one-week vacation, I like to take my 10-year-old grandson on activities that he normally wouldn't have the chance to do. This was a great time. He loved finding the pretty colored gems and was eager to learn what they were. There is a display case right next to the gem washing area to help determine what you... More

For our family of rock hounds this was awesome. Bought a couple of buckets and went to town. At the end they identified our stones, and gems. We could have left them there to be cut but we took them with us. Good times, decent price

I was a little skeptical of the experience but we all had fun with a 30 dollar bucket. I would go again. Staff was great.

We stopped here as part of a bucket list (literally). I've always wanted to go hunting for gems or gold and did not know what to expect. Pulled up and knew this was a tranquil spot for our first time "mining". They offer many different experiences with various sizes and types of buckets. No digging dirt here unless you want... More

So many good memories. My father in law loved this place and could stay for hours gleaming for gold flecks. My children and now Grandchildren always find gems when we pan too. Priced right and a good way to spend a few hours.

We've been bring our boys up here for years now. The staff is always friendly. They are very pet friendly also we brought our pups a couple years ago and they too also loved running around the water and grassy areas. If your into gem hunting/ mining /digging you should definitely come by and try this family type run business,... More

I have been here several times. The last time, I found some really beautiful stones and rocks. Two were of most interest to me. One was a sapphire which was over 100 Karat; gorgeous! The other was a blue topaz. The blue topaz isn't as easily found, but I found one. I had them cut each of the stones and... More

My kids favorite destination, we always do a half day of mining in the creek. The kids always find interesting stones and gems, the staff is friendly and very accommodating. Worth a visit!!!

Unlike all of the other gem mines in the area, this one managed to fill their barrels full of rocks and pebbles (seemingly straight off of the floor where you do the actual mining), rather than dirt mixed in with gems. This was the worst haul I have ever had from a gem mine. Split a big bucket with two... More

First you pay an insane price for a bucket of dirt that really does contain gold BUT the holes in the dirt sifter are to big to catch the gold. If you do happen to see a flake of gold as it goes through the screen you can't put your hands in the sleuth to get YOUR gold YOU paid... More
