My family and I went on a white water rafting expedition with Dave Prentice as our river guide. All of the guides, especially Dave, did a great job throughout the trip. It was my family's first time rafting, and they made the trip extremely memorable, unique and fun. I would definitely recommend this trip and Dave to anyone looking for... More

My family went white water rafting today and our awesome guide was Dave Prentice. Southeastern Expeditions made this trip truly wonderful and we had a perfect today. Water was a little low but they found lots of great things to do and see like shooting the rapids, jumping off rocks into the river and traveling through a "pot hole" not... More

Our whitewater rafting tour with Southeastern Expeditions was the highlight of our trip to the north Georgia mountains. It was so much fun to float down the river and spend the day outside. Our guide, Tessa, was very friendly, helpful, knowledgable and patient, and she made the trip fun! Even when we got stuck ("I've fallen, and I can't get... More

I've been on many rafting experiences all over the United States and this most recent trip rated the highest, mostly due to the expertise of our guide and trip leader, Dave Hinz. He is both skilled and entertaining, exhibiting this with the numerous spots that other guides got stuck with the lower water levels and his cool level head when... More

It was the most fun our family has had in a long time! Our guide was Tim. As far as I could tell, he was the best "skipper" out there!!! We are planning to go back in October to go down and go down the "4", once Tim get rated for "4"!! If you see Tim, ask him to tell... More

My lovely bride and I are both river guides, and, fortunately for us, our extended family loves rafting as well. So, each summer we take a week to a river destination as a family reunion. This year, we headed to the Chatooga. We found the the staff friendly and able to meet the needs of everyone: the young teens all... More

This is great fun for the entire family. We had never been whitewater rafting and this was an excellent place for beginners! We did the half day Class III trip. The river is beautiful and secluded. Not a house or building in sight for 5 hours. And even better -- No Cell Service. Great way to reconnect with your kids.... More

Took my wife and grand kids on white water trip down Chatooga River. SE did a great job. Our raft guide was very knowledgeable of the river and made the trip both an adventure and entertaining. Only thing I would recommend was there were two smokers on the trip with us. Every time we stopped for lunch or swim break,... More
