Been here three times already in few years, traveling from southeast Florida and its AWESOME! We keep going back taking our nieces and nephews and everyone always enjoys it and wants to return. I wish I could remember the names of all the guides we've had (to give them the credit they deserve) but unfortunately i dont,..because they were all... More

This was a great time - had a great guide and some fun partners in the raft. It was my first time rafting and it wasn't too difficult or too easy - perfect.

We took our teenager boys rafting this summer and had a fantastic experience. From booking the trip, to the guides, scenery and rafting we really had a great day. Highly reccomend the experience.

Paul Speed is by far the best guide I have ever experienced. Top rated on safety, fun, and over all experience. The management went above and beyond to make sure we had the experience of a life time. This is a bucket list event you need to take advantage of. One word to describe...exhilarating.

This is the 2nd time I have rafted with SSE. They take excellent care of you. The scenery is beautiful and the river is a blast to raft. It's worth every penny. Our raft guide was Chrisitan and he was outstanding. We will be back again!!! The only minor issue was they didn't have enough people the original day we... More

Nine of us (several of us were either there or approaching senior citizen status) had every intent of going down Section III on the Chattooga back in the summer time. But, due to our schedules - we were coming from 3 different states - we didn't get the opportunity to actually get together and take advantage of our trip plans... More

My original plan was to do Section III, but we ended up signed up for Section IV. Was a little nervous at first but figured since we weren't beginners it would be fine. What an awesome trip! So glad it had rained everyday before our trip because it made for some great runs. Our guide Josh was the best. Not... More

12 man crew bachelor party. Expected "white water conditions" was told the water level was low so it might not be as exciting as we expect. That may be true for the guides, but it was definitely awesome and white water enough for me. We lost our buddy out of the raft on the 2nd ledge drop, it was scary,... More

I have been many times on the Ocoee and wanted something longer and more challenging. I researched the Chattooga and chose Southern Expeditions. I felt the guides were all very good; however, the water was low which did cause a lot of delays and "challenging" manuvering of the raft. This did not bother me and I plan to return, BUT... More

At 55 and 61, you'd think we would have rafted some time in our lives, but no, this was our first. We are from Florida, and I dreaded getting drenched in freezing mountain water. Rest assured...you get drenched. But, we had a good time. Since the water level was low in September, it was only 7 guests and two guides.... More
