There is now a 10 dollar charge to set foot on the beach even if coming in by boat. Docking slips are always full so there is limited places to tie off boat. Then there are the young drunken boaters who tie boats together and stagger around the beach and restaurants. The bathrooms are located too far away from beach... More

Us parents liked it too. We liked that we could swim in the lake and sit on the beach but also go in the pool and do some slides. The water slides and wave pool were fun. It's really spread out so prepare to do one section at a time. That was the only bummer. We kept moving our stuff... More

We have not been to Lake Lanier Beach and Water park in some years. As a matter of fact the last time we went we took a cooler in with a picnic lunch and was allowed to do so. We had friends that stayed there so they drove out and picked us up to avoid the parking fee and entrance... More

No food allowed or drinks. The bad part is last year you could buy a yearly reusable cup for $30 and get it refilled all year at the park. Not a bad deal as when you have an 8 and 10 year old kid they can get their own refills. Well, this year they charge 99 cents plus tax (1.06)... More

My family and I rented a slip this past weekend. We generally stay on the docks since you have to pay $10 per person just to walk on the beach regardless of where you're going. This is something new that I think is a little ridiculous for people that are already paying $50 to tie off at the dock. The... More

Everytime I go to Lanier World, I have a blast! I personally enjoyed just chilling out on a raft in the wave pool but the slides are great too! It does require a lot of walking so be prepared and don't forget your sunscreen. When you're done having your fill of the water park, there's a nice selection of food... More

I brought the grandkids there aged 11 and 13. They had a fun time together. However, it is an expensive day. You aren't supposed to bring food in there and the food you buy is more expensive than usual. Also, I would walk around to chaperone as there are teenagers and adults who can get a little rough. I had... More

We live on the lake and decided to do a "staycation" this year and make use of the water park. We've been several other years, but now noticed a lot of improvements to the facilities overall. Also, as grandparents, we got in free with the kiddies. All the babies, under 2, were free so we only paid for 4 adults.... More

We just came home from 3 days of staying on the resort. Water park was fun kids really enjoyed the obstacle course they had in lake area and the small beach area water was nice and clear. Slides were good kids enjoyed the raging rapids. My only suggestion would make sure you ask different people what time park is closing... More

I recently went to a wedding and a family reunion here. It's a huge lake (largest in GA) and there is really something for everyone. About 10 of us rented a pontoon boat and took it out for a nice ride! There are companies right there that you can rent from (the driver has to sit through a 45 min... More
