The boat was really nice except for the stinky smell of cigarettes. It has one of the worst smells from smoking of any of the casino boats (5 and counting) I have been on. It isn't bad enough that the customers smoke but most of the staff were sitting around smoking for the hour it took to get out and... More

I have been sailing with the EPII for several years now. I have gone different days and times. I have also been to MANY casinos. I have learned to treat people the way you want to be treated. This is a GAMBLING BOAT not a luxury liner. Even if you are not much of a gambler the cruise alone is... More

My husband and I had heard about this place by way of his co-worker. We went to see it for ourselves after finding out there was dinner and dancing aboard the cruise. The look of the boat was inviting from the outside. On the inside we were hit in the face by clouds of cigarette smoke. My husband and I were... More

Yum4tum-- I am sorry that you were not informed that smoking is allowed on the ship. Unfortunately, smoking is something that is common practice in casinos. We do have a smoke filtration system that is the largest available to a ship of our size. We do try to accommodate as many things possible to make each customer happy. I understand that... More

My companion hit it right on the head. "It's like gaming at the Greyhound bus station" Right off he bat when you arrive be sure to go to the window and get your tickett. It is the window that has no sign saying this is where you get your tickett. Once on board be ready to bother the obviusly exhausted... More

Greg, I am sorry your trip with us was not as pleasant as you had hoped. While we can not make everyone happy, we do still try to make everyone happy. The smoke issue is something that not everyone likes. We do have a smoke ventilation system and it is the largest that we can get for a ship of... More

My husband and I went on this cruise February 22 , Saturday night cruise for our wedding anniversary. The first thing we noticed is the attire of the other guests " jeans , flip flops , camouflage hoodies , etc " not fine dining attire at all. We felt way over dressed. The boat stinks of smoke eyes watered the... More

Sandra, I am sorry to hear you had a unpleasant experience with us. While we can not control the attire of our passengers, I am sorry that you may have been told it was fine dining attire. I understand the smoke can be a issue to non smokers. We do have a smoke filtration system that is the largest available... More

Food was good, took an hour to get into international waters, rooms were smoke filled and COLD air blowing everywhere. Thank goodness there were TV's onboard to break the boredom of losing money.

Terrence, Thanks for your review of the Emerald Princess. We know that not everyone is happy about the smoke issue. The smoke varies from cruise to cruise depending on how many smokers are on board. We do have the best smoke filtration system that is available to us, remember we are on a ship with limited space. As far as... More
