Our first visit to Mercier was followed by a second visit two days later. The fruit offerings are extremely good with numerous varieties and samples for tasting to ensure you get the one you like. If you like to pick your own fruit, there are several opportunities to spend a day picking fruit. The pastries are insane good. The selection... More

I absolutely love this place! There is not one thing that I would complain about even after years of visiting. This is about as close as you can come to heaven on earth.

I really wanted to visit this orchard! They were suppose to have blackberry picking today, but they didn't and it was an easy decision to apple pick instead! Kiddos, 12 and 7 and my fiancé and I took the fun ride through the orchards and the guide was great and personable. She explained the family history of the property and... More

I wouldn't make the trip to Blue Ridge without stopping at Mercier's orchard. Their fried pies are a must.

Prices are a little steep for a local person. Worth the trip for the apple cinnamon doughnuts. Forget the 2.00 fried pie..... Sample some of the ciders in the fall. Take a hayride. These are what makes life worth living.

Mercier Orchards has a large country store outside of Blue Ridge, GA on Highway 5. This store has a little bit of everything- apple, peach, and other ciders, jams, jellies, fruit butters, and other local and homemade delicacies. They have a big bakery counter where they serve some of the best fried pies I've ever had. I wholeheartedly recommend the... More

Stopped here after it was recommended by a rafting guide. She said to try their wine slushie! Wonderful! Ended up getting a very tasty pimento cheese sandwich there as well! Went back the next day and bought another slushie and some amazing cheese straws! Very fun place to stop!

If you love fresh food, get to this place on your next trip to North Georgia. OK, it's a bit rustic, but that's what you were looking for coming to Blue Ridge in the first place. They let you sample various apples before you purchase. They also sell peaches (over the top good and juicy) as well as other fruits... More
