6 mile hike with dogs off leash

Nice loop. Nothing noteworthy to look at except some creeks. No facilities. Easy to follow trail. Not much else to say

These falls were very pretty. If you haven't hiked to any falls before this would be a fairly easy one for your first time. It is about a 30 minute hike in and not very difficult. We did see several people of all ages on the trail. The worst part was the drive in once you get onto the gravel... More

I liked the building and all of it's furnishings and the look it has. But the parking lot is full of puddles and muddy. Inside was a nice place to attend one of Blue Ridge's events. No complaints whatsoever, except the parking lot

Nearly anyone should be able to complete this hike and the falls are very nice. You can go back home and tell people that you were hiking on the Appalachian Trail. We talked to a couple people who were beginning their long journey to Maine which was pretty cool.

This was very close to our cabin so went and checked it out. This was a very easy trail for all ages. We had our entire family grandpa and grandma and no one struggled too bad. This trail is straight up but its not a terrible grade. As far as beauty nothing surpasses this great wonder of nature. Also if... More

Very easy trail for multiple ages. Beautiful Falls. Long ride in to get there, but worth it because of the scenery. I suggest an SUV or Truck to get here.

3 generations of family did the 1.1 mile hike into this falls meeting lots of hikers along this part of the Appalachian trail. It is a lovely spot and we spent quite some time at the falls while the boys fished.

This hiking walk was a good exercise for me! The scenic route to get to this place was beautiful, amazing looking cabins, beautiful mountains... the waterfall was nice.

This is a great place for the family if you like adventure and not in a hurry. Great photo opps but a long bumpy drive on gravel road and about a thirty minute hike to the falls. But it is a beautiful hike and not too hard. My children 8 and 6 were fine.

We did this short hike (1 mile) up the Benton MacKaye Trail to Long Creek Falls. The hike is easy and the falls are very nice. The rhododendron are everywhere and in a few weeks when they bloom it will be amazing. Lots of nice scenery on the way there. It's a good 2 hour activity.
