I've visited here several times and always enjoyed it. It is a pleasant walk, not too difficult, and the falls are quite nice. Friends and family have enjoyed it.

Wow, we were pleasantly surprised! The walk was pleasant and the falls were stunning!!! I recommend this to everyone, the trek in isn't difficult. It is not paved (for wheel chairs). We are going back again this weekend:)

Not too difficult to find with our map from our cabin. The hike was fairly easy and the falls were naturally beautiful of course. Only a few other folks there so it was nice!

A short walk with a little bit of grade to waterfall. Drive want as bad as I expected from description. My granddaughter and I enjoyed the walk and sights.

The hike was pleasant and very easy. As we approached the falls, the volume of the sound made by the cascading water increased considerably, and this made the hike that much more enjoyable.

Not too strenuous- short 20 minute hike to a beautiful waterfall. Hike through rhododendrons and alongside a creek all the way up to the pristine double waterfall.

We took our kids ages 6 and 1 on a hike on a nice fall day. The dirt road is long and bumpy, but beautiful we saw two deer. The hike wasn't too difficult, even with needing to carry our one year old most of the way there and back. The kids enjoyed throwing rocks in the river. There were... More

The mile long hike is fairly flat, wide, and easy to navigate. The 5.5 miles of forest service road that access the trailhead are narrow, rocky and difficult to navigate if any cars approach from the opposite direction. The drive is lovely, following along the river, but it us not relaxing, nor quick. Plan on going only 15 mph.

The 5 mile dirt road to this waterfall is very very bumpy but the one mile walk on the Appalachian trail is easy and pleasant....worth the trip!

Well worth the short hike! Great place to take pictures. Close to Blue Ridge so doesn't take long to get there.
