Our daughter makes us come here everytime we visit - she is a rock nut. For about $25 you get a gallon bucket filled with dirt/clay and lots of gems. You head over to the mining area and sift through your bucket to find your treasures. The owners are very nice and will occassionally throw a big stone into the... More

The Lily Pad Village is a rustic place which houses a mini golf course, fishing and gem mining. Our group of 6 only did the mini golf. The gentleman who checked us in was extremely nice and he charged the whole group the child's prices (maybe because it was two hours to closing). We only had one child under 10.... More

We were very disappointed by the fishing. We fished for 1 hr 15min and didn't catch anything! The pond is tiny so I would have expected it to be well-stocked. I think there's about 10 in the whole thing. I paid over $30 and got two very frustrated boys. There was a nice lady helping out, but when she handed... More

Thank you for visiting the Lilly Pad and thank you for taking the time to share your opinion. I take every review very seriously, especially an unhappy review - I am afraid I am unable to do so this time. Seems your complaint and disappointment is based on the fact that your children did not catch any fish, while people... More

Took my 13 year old niece and 10 year old nephew. He wanted to fish and she wanted to do the gem mining....works great since they have both. He brought his pole and tackle with him - fished for a bit but didn't catch anything but one small fish. We did see a lot of big fish - just couldn't... More

We thoroughly enjoyed Lilly Pad Village. We didn't have enough time to fish but the mini golf and gem mining were great! The people who worked that day were very friendly and helpful. they had to be a little overwhelmed with the number of visitors but they didn't show it, they worked their way around to everyone to make sure... The golf course is no-frills, but it's tougher than it looks thanks to the hill it sits on. Balls rolled what looked like the wrong way (looked like they were rolling uphill a few times)! The gem mining was good old fashioned fun. I hadn't done that kind of thing since I was 5 years old and it was just... More

This place was so much fun, we went with our young son and he was so excited. The people there were awesome, explaining all of the finds to the kids and honestly seemed to enjoy what they do. We were so impressed that we went back a second time and I have to say they took great care to make... More

I came here with my wife and 6 children (ages 1 through 9). Finding activities that cater to all the kids is a challenge. Truthfully, when reading about the activities at this place it sounded cheesy to me. But the experience was amazing for everyone. The 'Gem Minging' was so fascinating to my kids that they did it multiple times.... More

The Lily Pad Village was an adventure to remember. It has a great family atmosphere. The staff was very helpful and friendly. You will see one small pond with goldfish. Another bigger pond has lots of catfish for you to catch. I loved the nice golf course found in the shade rather than out in the sun. The gem mining... More
