WOW - some of the best views I've seen on the East Coast of US. The walk to the top from the visitors center is pretty steep but an enjoyable and easy walk. There is a great building at the very top and the views are just spectacular on a clear day! We went up at evening after a rainstorm... More

Great views, friendly staff, interesting exhibits. Just be prepared for a little challenge driving from Highway 180. Definitely worth the challenge though.

We drove to the Brasstown Bald Visitors Center and took the trail to the top. It's steep but is a good paved trail. You can take a shuttle to the top but something just doesn't seem right about riding to the top when you can walk it in 20 or 30 minutes. There is a nice visitors area at the... More

My three boys and I enjoyed walking up the trail to the top. The guide at the guard shack, Mrs. Jeanette was an incredibly lady and the ice cream at the end of the hike was delicious. If you love mountains, this is a must see.

Had perfect weather for our visit here. The drive up was fun and reaching the top with the cool breeze and beautiful view was great. We also enjoyed the museum. The staff were very nice and enjoyable.

Had a great visit to the lookout tower at the tallest mountain in Georgia. Temperature was around 57 degrees in June!. They did a great job building the lookout tower so you have a great view of 4 states as you walk around it. They should a short movie to tell you about the history of the mountain and has... More

Took the 80 mile ride up from Duluth Ga on my Yamaha VStar 1100 cruiser and the twists and turns on the roads getting there rival what I've heard about the 'Tail of The Dragon' in North Carolina. Numerous motorcycles and bicycles were enjoying the exhilirating 15 to 45 MPH curves, rises, and descents. Good placement of bypass lanes, and... More

great time with the family. We went all the way to the peak and visited the museum. The general store was a nice place to grab some souvenirs.

Three girls from flat, hot Florida thoroughly enjoyed the drive up to Brasstown bald...and then the climb to get to the top. Amazing views of four states :) Loved this excursion.
