Drive to the parking lot at the highest point in GA. Then hike a mile to the top or pay $2 for a shuttle ride. You can see three states from the top, and there is a visitor center with lots of info. They even have an elevator to the observation deck. This is a working mountain top, with a... More

If you are in Georgia you need to take the ride to Brasstown Bald. You will not be diappointed. Take walking shoes or take the tram to the top. The view is spectacular on a clear day. Nice free movie presentation about the mountain area.

Being born and raised in flat Florida, visiting this mountain was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. You can see a bunch of different states and the views are literally priceless. Would recommend this to anyone!!!!

I have taken the family here several times! The views are amazing and relaxing at the same time. Also a good way to teach kids a little Ga history.

Going up the mountain is not a problem. Very scenic up there, and a lot cooler even in summer. So make sure you bring a light jacket or sweater. Storms blow in fast up there so keep an eye to the sky while visiting. Great experience to see the different displays they have at the top which explains about the... More

The drive to get to the highest part in Georgia is very windy and beautiful! We took the trail up to the tower- which was .6 miles and free, but difficult. However with a bad knee and asthma I walked it. The view is beautiful and peaceful! You can see every direction!

The peak of Brasstown Bald is something to behold. You can see TN and the Smoky Mountains of NC all from one place!

The entire family enjoyed our visit here. We took the shuttle to the top and then walked back down. Glad we did take the shuttle up because the driver provided some interesting facts during the drive.

They half mile walk is grueling if the tram isn't running but it is so well worth the time. When my wife and I reached the top it was memorizing. The quiet was incredible, the view was incredible.....should I go on. This is our 7th visit to the area and I'm not sure how we've missed this. I would put... More

A must do day-trip for anybody from Atlanta. For the enthusiastic ones, I would highly recommend the short trek up from the parking lot to the Observation Tower. Views are amazing. Make sure you find the geo-marker designating the highest spot in the state of Georgia.
