Spent a few hours here and had a nice time. The hike to the top is a bit tough because of the incline but the path was paved and nicely maintained. There is also a shuttle if you don't want to do the hike. The view was really beautiful even on an overcast day.

The mountains were beautiful and it had easily 130 peeks/hills that you can see from here. The drive was great and we visited in mid-June. It was a hot day when driving but it was cool and pleasant once we reached the mountain. The scenery was great and didn't realize Georgia or even the States had places like this. It... More

Great day trip from Helen GA. Terrific view of several states. Go on a clear day or call the park - it could be clear there and not where you are or vice versa. The rangers were very nice and informative. Take food and drink with you nice picnic area, plus it is a good distance from obtaining any. The... More

First, let me say this park is managed by some of the finest individuals I have seen in a long time! The lady greeting at the gate was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Thereh is a hike of .7 miles to the top or you can ride the free shuttle. We chose to ride the shuttle as our prior day excursions left... More

We opted to walk up to the lookout tower instead of taking the shuttle. Short but very steep trail - worth the views.

We drove into Brasstown Bald's parking lot and found a nice picnic area there. After eating, we took the shuttle to the top of the mountain. Due to the weather, our views weren't as spectacular as described by others, but we did enjoy it. We decided to take the trail back to the parking lot afterwards and enjoyed the walk.... More

This is a must if you are traveling in North GA. The highest peak in the state and the views are gorgeous. Great gift shop. The van ride to the top is great for those of us not in great shape. The walk down is nice. Recommended for all ages. The visitor center at the top is very interesting and... More

We took the shuttle to the top of Brasstown Bald Mountain. The scenery is absolutely beautiful. Plan to spend a little time to look around up there. You do have an option to hike up and down to the Brasstown Bald Mountain viewing area.

Park in the parking lot and walk up! It's a climb, but well worth it when you get to the top! You can see GA, SC, NC and TN from the top. I like to go during each season. Of course, fall is the most beautiful! If you are in North Georgia, you have to go so you can say... More

This is the highest place in Georgia, $5 each, very informative great museum and gift shop. Transport is available up and down the mountain if wanted, we opted to be taken up and then walked down.
