It's a quick hike to the top from the parking lot. The views are amazing especially when all the trees change colors in the fall!

Had a wonderful time and timed the rain perfectly! We hiked up to the top. Great views. Sat on front porch w/ a sandwich when it began to rain and had a great conversation with the employee in the shop. Staff was helpful and nice and really enjoyed just being there.

Worth stopping there. Learned alot about the area with their movie presentation and the view is breathtaking. Tallest point in Georgia, can see 4 states from there, 360 degree view. Handicap friendly.

This is a must see. Brasstown Bald is the highest mountain in Georgia and at the top you can see 4 states. On a really clear day, you can see Stone Mountain park in Atlanta.

Great State treasure - everyone should see! Simply breath-taking! (and not just because of the hike up!) The film at the top is nice - but the views are incredible!

The ride up the mountain was cool considering I'm from Florida and only used to driving on flat land. The view was awesome ! Up top was even better . Def going back there again in the fall

My boyfriend, his children and I made the trek to Brasstown Bald in late July 2014. I wish I had recorded our ascent because that was a thrill in and of itself. We live in Florida. A speed bump is the closet thing we have to a mountain or even a foothill. The drive up to the park entrance went... More

Beautiful views. You can view 4 states from the lookout, and there are plaques to tell you what you are seeing. It is a state park, so ther is a small fee, but well worth it. You can park and hike up or take the shuttle, which runs frequently. They show a short movie about the history of the area,... More

1/2 mile hike to the top which I would call moderate difficulty (no problem for the younger generation) but they have benches along the way. During the summer months they provide shuttle to the top. The path way from the parking lot to top is paved. Well worth the climb but make sure it is a reasonably clear day.
