Walked up at 10 am into clouds so thick you couldn't see. Stephen told us best time for viewing was between 12 and 3. We walked up again at 3 after a few hours of touring waterfalls. Well worth 2 visits in one day and the $5 price of admission

shuttle to the top - walked down....GOOD LORD! My calves are aching! LOVED every minute of the time I spent with my kid! **must do the scavenger hunt in the museum at the top - it's free for kids and mine got a Smokey the Bear Ruler for participating!

I headed up early and hiked the 6/10th of a mile before the visitor center even opened. The observation deck was open and the views of the surrounding area were breathtaking. I had the place to myself, which was nice. The hike up was steep but a good workout. I was very impressed with the quality of the trail...newly paved... More

We went to this mountain top place on Mother's day. The views are awesome. It was a very clear and sunny day with temperature hovering around 72*F. There is a short movie presentation. Be prepared to shell out $5.00 per person!! Overall it is a well worth visit.

The hike is dog friendly but STEEP and there are stairs, so strollers are a problem!!!! Totally a MUST-DO! Picnic tables, pottys and a shop!!!! Pushing a stroller up that hike requires will & a strong guy - take the van!

Drive to the parking lot at the highest point in GA. Then hike a mile to the top or pay $2 for a shuttle ride. You can see three states from the top, and there is a visitor center with lots of info. They even have an elevator to the observation deck. This is a working mountain top, with a... More

If you are in Georgia you need to take the ride to Brasstown Bald. You will not be diappointed. Take walking shoes or take the tram to the top. The view is spectacular on a clear day. Nice free movie presentation about the mountain area.

Being born and raised in flat Florida, visiting this mountain was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. You can see a bunch of different states and the views are literally priceless. Would recommend this to anyone!!!!
