My husband and I had a great couple of hours with Bernard. The east coast of the island is very picturesque and we spent 2 hours trekking through the hills and down on to the beach, even taking the horses for a quick splash in the ocean. The views were breathtaking and Bernard is very knowledgeable on local history as... More

I was in Barbados for business and wanted to do something active over the weekend that would allow me to see some more of the island than just the South Coast. I chose Ocean Echo because of the great tripadvisor reviews, and still, it was better than I could have possibly imagined! I took a two-hour ride, just me and... More

We have been horse riding several times over the years but this trek surpassed any thing else we have done. We were the only riders and had two guides to accompany us. Bernard the lead guide was fantastic! He gave us so much information on local history and the flora and fauna as we rode through the hills above the... More

I should have written this review a long time ago but I am only just writing up my notes from my visit to Barbados in December 2011. The few hours I spent riding with Bernárd on a beautiful horse called Chalice were among the most special of my whole trip. The scenery was beautiful and Bernárd was the perfect companion... More

We went on the 1.5 hour coast and countryside ride, which was amazing. Fantastic guide who put 2 first time riders at ease. Samantha told us lots about the island on the journey to the stable, and throughout the ride Bernard spoke about the local vegetation and have us some history about Barbados. A really great choice for something different... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Ocean Echo stables, and riding on the beach was bliss. It was only my third time on a horse, but I was assigned such a calm and steady mount that I didn't have any trouble whatsoever. Great service to be collected from our hotel and dropped back again afterwards, and very interesting to chat... More

We felt welcomed from the time we were picked up at our hotel by Bernard. We were able to look, pet and take pictures with all the horses. The ride was awesome and the guides accommodated each rider based on experience. The time at the beach was great with the view, the little trot in the water and just seeing... More

My wife and I have ridden a few times on vacation and have to say we've never had a better experience than we had at Ocean Echo. As it turned out we had a wonderful guide in Bernard, who in addition to expertly managing us on horseback, explaining local history, flora and fauna (my wife actually saw a mongoose), recited... A truly memorable experience, Sam, Bernard and the younger guy (can't remember his name) were lovely and chatty and informative, we just went for a trek so only walking speed which was OK for the non rider among us, we were out for about two hours and went though the forest and down to the beach, it was brilliant and...
