One of five lakes on the Winter Park chain of lakes. It is the 3rd largest of the 5. But the only way to see it is from the shore of Rollins College (worth the visit too). Or take the Winter Park Pontoon Boat trip and see 3 of the 5 lakes.

Lake Virginia is a beautiful lake upon which to live but most of Central Florida only knows it as a body of water in Winter Park. Most recreation on the lake is that of its residents and their visitors.

A lovely expanse of water surrounded by breathtaking homes. Rollins college is sited on it;s banks and provides a beautiful backdrop to the College.

I really enjoyed the boat tour of Lake Virginia and the other lakes that were connected by the canals. Good views of the expensive real estate in Winter Park and the local guide was knowledgeable and provided a running commentary on the history of Winter Park and of some of the houses that I found extremely interesting. Highly recommended.

Excellent boat trip around 3 lakes and upscale houses. Actual price is $ 12 per adult and $6 for kids. Do it!

The most beautiful Sunset in Winter Park, you can paddle to Winter Park Lake chain, Mizel Lake and Osceola Lake. It's a relaxing way to spend an hour seeing how the rich and famous have built some beautiful lakefront property narrated by a local who adds a little background to the history.

Lake is surrounded by large, upscale home and the campus of Rollins College. Adjacent to Rollins are water sports facilities usually fully used and good to watch

Lake Virginia is one of the lakes in "The Winter Park Chain Of Lakes" which are connected by canals and waterways. Rollins College is situated on this beautiful lake and their water ski team and rowing team practice here. There is also a public boat ramp (fees are charged for usage) where you are able to launch your boat. The... More
