Nice walk down Holt Street or from Winter Park downtown to the museum on the water at Rollins College. Variety of art from renaissance through contemporary. Some of the more recent art was too "cutting edge" for our tastes, but there is something for everyone. We caught one of the tours: recommended.

Make sure you walk of to this if you are staying in Winter Park. The campus is great and the collection in the museum is very diverse.

Few universities and fewer colleges have the depth and quality of paintings, sculpture, and fine art photography that Cornell Fine Arts Museum offers to Rollins students and to visitors to and residents of Winter Park, Florida.

I read the reviews and looked forward to going to this museum. Imagine my surprise when I saw "art" that my blind dog could have done better! And yes, I really do have a blind dog and yes, the art here was horrible. Now, I know art is subjective so please keep this in mind when you read an art... More

Kudos to this small but mighty museum, for offering both the new and old, in the art world. All galleries were tastefully arranged, and the fact that admission was free on a hot Labor Day week-end, made it all the better. Parking easy and especially delineated for visitors to the museum, though signage for parking could be better (we asked... More

Enjoyed visiting this museum. Unfortunately we missed the Matisse exhibition by a few days. It is worth 'phoning ahead to see what is on display. We also took advantage of strolling around the lovely Rollins college campus. Attractive Spanish-Mediterranean style buildings and beautifully maintained grounds. Worth a visit.

To start, the museum is on the Rollins College campus which is worth looking at in and of itself. To get to the museum, turn left at the light off of Fairbanks into the campus's gated entrance and then left on Holt Avenue to the end of the road. There are a few parking spots in front of the museum... More

The intimacy of the gallery is matched by the often very hip juxtaposition of traditional and more post modern mediums of expression such as photographs and mixed media. The exhibit I commented on during a public talk in September, for example was a display of Florida birds done in three dimensional painted paper shapes representative of the species the artist...
