When I arrived at the museum the person on duty had just begun a tour with three other visitors so I joined in. What perfect timing as Jeff was very knowledgeable of everything in the museum and the local history. The museum is located in a four room building that had been an old railroad station. Jeff pointed out that... More

This is a quaint museum in a quaint but vibrant little city. It doesn't take long to enjoy it. The displays and scenes cover the history of the area, which was a citrus growing center in Florida. After touring this little museum, enjoy the rest of the town's restaurants, cafes, and the railroad museum. You can rent a bike and... More

The WG Heritage Museum was such a surprise to me on my first visit...There was so much to see & learn about...They work diligently on preserving Winter Garden's past & what makes it special through tours, exhibitions, many events & programs...Best part is it is FREE to visitors. If you are a history buff you are sure to enjoy!

This is a neat little museum that provides the history of Winter Garden and the area. On display they have items that will take you back to your childhood and drinking orange juice.

This small (and free!) museum houses the citrus history that drove the development of Winter Garden. Lots to learn here about the citrus industry, especially the labelling for the boxes of citrus. I never realized these labels were so specific, so artistic, nor how large the industry once was. Well worth the visit!

Have NEVER stopped in here on the numerous times I/we have visited Winter Garden which is right up the road from us. Really enjoyed the exhibits and the most lovely woman, Leigh, I believe her name was. You must stop in and have a look.

I am very partial to this museum. I worked as a volunteer here for almost 10 years. There is a bike/walking trail right outside the front door that runs right thru the center of town and therefore we get a lot of traffic. It has come a long way with a lot of dedicated people to see it happen.

Thank Joyce M
