Long Bay Beach: The beach was grainier than other beaches I've visited but still lovely. It was powdery but not the super soft sand. The water was crystal clear. There are sea grape trees for shade. Just be careful because we took shade under the sea grape trees and it had black ants and bees. You can rent lounge chairs,... More

The sand and water is pretty nice. Water is nice and warm. It is not very crowded. You can do some snorkeling, not that impressive though. If you are staying at the hotels in the area, the stingray city boat will actually pick you up from here. When you pull into the bay, you would notice a big tree on... More

Amazing public beach just around the corner from The Verandah resort, but well worth the short stroll to spend a morning or afternoon there. The most amazing white sand and clear blue sea, with good snorkelling straight off of the right corner of the beach.

We rented two chairs with an umbrella. Nice day, There was a restaurant there, service saw killer slow, food was lousy and the service too. The beach is nice but you are better off at Darkwood Beach.

Solid beach with beach bar at one end which will rent you umbrellas and chairs for US$5 each. Can get food and drinks from the beach bar and there is snorkeling right off the beach. Beautiful water.

Good beach for people who enjoy snorkelling . The only thing to be aware of is that you will find the cost of the sun beds will double if the cruise ships have docked for the day and the beach is very busy.

We stayed at the Verandah Resort and walked over here for a change of scenery a couple of times. The first time we went, it was in the afternoon and I couldn't believe no one was on the beach. However, the boys out front wanted our business, for what, I don't even know... I just laughed and said we were... More

This small beach features water every color of blue, good snorkeling and calm water (i.e. no waves). There are a few beach shacks for souvenirs, and a restaurant/bar. There is limited shade, but the water is so beautiful you won't be sitting on the beach, but in the ocean.

Ok let me start by saying do not confuse St. John's, Antigua with St. John's US Virgin Islands....different islands and they won't ferry you to St. Johns USVI to make an excursion that you booked prior to your trip! Woops!! We realized this only after we got off the boat and were looking for a sign with our names on... More
