Great veranda which is close to the courts. The place really needs a nice bar. Indoors and outdoors. It would be a great add to the place. What club doesn't have a bar?
A group of 20 of us had a lovely lunch on the Veranda followed by a private lesson and croquet competition. Everyone had a blast! The facility is beautiful and the staff was excellent - very friendly and eager to share their passion for croquet with us novices. I think they converted most of us to this fun sport! I... More
M y sister and I just went there for lunch. We sat on the veranda which overlooks the playing field. It was a beautiful day so the setting was perfect. The inside of the building is very "Tommy Bahama" in style, which I love. The food is good, but it is a mystery to me that very few people are... More
I went to the National Croquet Center for a free lesson one Saturday, then ended up joining the summer league! Lots of us were beginners, but we were made to feel welcome and taught to love the sport. I ended up joining the club, and though someone said it was a sport for the wealthy, really almost anyone can afford... More
If your passion is croquet, it's as good as it gets. The guys who support it want the best possible croquet center and they have made it such.
I recently held my 40th birthday party at the National Croquet Center and I can honestly say that everyone had a great time. We had a brief croquet lesson given by the Center’s pros and then we were off having fun. We played for about one-hour (before the sunset) and enjoyed delicious passed hors d' oeuvres and cocktails. Scott, with... More
We had a company event here 2 years ago. It was so much fun that we have been begging to go again. Luckily our company listens & we're going back in December. Can't wait to play again.
It's hard to believe this beautiful facility is in this neighborhood. The grounds are perfect. The food was great. This is a great place to attend or hold an event. I understand it is reasonable as well....
The National Croquet Center is one of those places you don't think of. It's tucked away from many of the other clubs, restaurants, popular spots and honestly, I'd heard of it, but didn't even know where it was until I attended an event there. The place is absolutely lovely inside and the staff quite pleasant and eager to please. At... More
