Everytime we have visited WPB, we pass by this park, yet never went. This vacation, we had dogs with us, so decided to check out the dog park and it was great! There was a gated section for big dogs and a section for little dogs (under 30 lbs). The walking trails in the park were nice and good water... More

Lots of bike trails, walking trails, picnic areas, and playgrounds. This park is vast - you could spend a lot of time walking through here. We usually bring a picnic and let the kids run around. The playground near the Alligator Pavilion is the best, but there are several throughout the park.

Such a great park. Places to sit, places to walk. Was a beautiful day to enjoy the outdoors. We had a picnic lunch and enjoyed our time together

Never very crowded. Nice long trails to walk or ride bikes. Never rented any, but they have kayak and bike rentals here as well. Very clean. Nice park overall.

I discovered this park when I moved to Florida four years ago, absolutely love it. Very peaceful, great place to relax.

Love having this park near my family so I can get a an hour or two of exercise and decompression. Great walking / running trails including a 2 mile loop of soft mulch with multiple exercise stations. Kayacks, paddle boats, tennis courts and a full golf course and practice range.

The heart trail is a nice way to get some exercise. The softball leagues and soccer fields are well kept. The park does not have any real shade trees though. That seems to be a problem with most parks in Florida. They do have an out of the way preserve in the back of the park most do not seem... More

I wish the trails by the nature center had been a bit longer but they were very relaxing and scenic none the less. The best part of Okeeheelee is definitely the poochie pines dog park. Everyone there was very friendly and the park is large & clean.
