I've been there a few time with my family and soon will be taking my son! I'm sorry but some people need to understand that if you are to fat you might not fit in some of the sides or rides and thats nobody's fault! This is a fun place and I recommend it to anyone who is willing to... More

I drove to Rapids from Miami, about one hour drive or so. It was Monday, so the park wasn't extremely busy. We also had a coupon "buy one get one free" so we paid $40 for 2 tickets. The rides are great. I always preferred water parks over amusement parks, cause the waiting is not that long and rides are... More

Horrible experience due to recent changes. They have a scale at the top of the slides waiting to discriminate and embarrass anyone they feel could be close to 250 pounds. They stop the line and make you stand aside to weigh you. Their guestimations were clearly off with several guests. If that wasn't enough they made those who "passed" the... More

We went to rapids for family member's birthday and was extremely pissed that my husband was DISCRIMINATED and completely embarrassed by "looking" 250lbs or more. They actually have a scale at the top that he had to get on to be weighed b4 going on ride in front of everyone if you are over you take the walk of shame... More

The water park was okay. Lines were not long at all. Storms broke out at 1pm. Park closed at 4pm. They gave rain checks but being on vacation it didn't help us any since we didn't have time to go back. Lots of locals and summer camp kids. We rented a cabana so at least we were sheltered by the... Overall great water park. Good layout, clean. Rapids has a weight policy, barring those weighing 250 lbs. or more on many major attractions, which they should ascertain at the entrance to attractions instead of when customers are about to get on an attraction after waiting in long lines.

I prefer water parks over amusement parks. Theyre cheaper, the lines are typically shorter, and the rides tend to be more fun! There are tons of different rides here for people of different interests. They are closely packed together which is pretty convenient because you dont have to walk so much. The lazy river makes it easy and fun to... More

If you live in South FL, Rapids Water Park can be a good option to try, as the park is well sized, with nice ride options for the whole family. The food options are not that good compared to other major parks, but overall it is a decent option to try.

This place has everything an adrenalin junkie like me would love. Yes, I know it is expensive, but you get 35 waterslides, and other attractions for $40. If waterslides are a hot button, it will be worth it, I assure you. The slides are really good, and are some of the best I've ridden. My only real complaint is that... More
