The Armory hosts serious amateur artists and sculptors who display their works in a show at the end of Season. The viewing is free and often you can buy something you fancy.

This wonderful 1939 art decor building houses a great art center that povides classes in the different arts, has free exhibitions during the year and special programs. Lovely grounds with small sculpture garden. A great asset to the community. On Parker Ave., a few hundred yards south of Okeechobee Boulevard.

I am currently taking a pottery class, throwing on the wheel, with Tyra. Enjoying the ease of the pace. I will explore more art education at the Armory. Class sign up does require an annual membership.

Great location and they have receptions for the artists. Yesterday there were 2 artists and they had "Florida Rooms" 6-8 of them to see and get ideas from. They also have artist lectures.

Classes in many forms of art are supported here. Children and adults have access to experienced teachers and especially to others with similar interests. A true community asset for people with all skill levels.

I went to camp there over the summer and let me just say this, it was amazing!!!!! I had so much fun! Everyday I would come home laughing. This is a wonderful place with a wonderful summer program. I'm a terrible artist and I had so much fun!
