We love this Garden. We take leisurely strolls many times a year, sometimes bringing lunch to have at the beautiful gazebo pavillion. Primarily we just unwind and absorb the tranquility all around us.

Whatever a gardener or photographer looks for, it will likely be at Mounts. Only 14 acres, yet it's home to a variety of model gardens for homeowners to use as inspiration. The garden uses no chemicals, I'm told, meaning the plants are selected carefully. Adjacent is the UF/USDA/Palm Beach Co. extension office where free plant advice is available from master... More

I infrequently visit here but have been going for a number of years. It is a nice, peaceful change of pace.

Saturday was my second visit in a month. I was there taking photos with a group and besides my beautiful photos, I received no less than 50 mosquito bites (I used Off Deep Woods). With the rise in mosquito borne viruses such as CHIKV and dengue spreading to So. Florida, It behooves the MBG management to spray to keep the... More

This garden is so well laid out with ponds and grass yards. They have some of the most interesting trees, from Candle Trees to Jac or Jack Trees that have large fruits that can weigh up to 70lbs & Elephant Apple & Lipstick Tree or Annatto, whose red pods contain red pigmented seeds used as lipstick & food dyes. We got there too late for the herb shop but after finding out that we had driven 2 hours to visit, a very kind gentleman allowed us to see the herb shop. I bought a few herbs and we had a wonderful visit. Plan to go back again and allow more time to stroll the 14 acres. A $5 donation... More

My wife and I went to visit friends in the West Palm Beach area, and I decided that I wanted to go to a botanical garden. Mounts was the one to go to from all my research. My friends who have lived here for many years did not even know about this gem I took them there, and they LOVED... More

Mounts Botanical Garden is a beautiful example of what to grow in the Palm Beach County area. It gives you wonderful ideas of what is available and what will survive the weather differences and they have resources to teach you how to make it all happen. It is a great stroll and should be on your list of places to... More
