We were members until we moved. There are a lot of things going on like flower shows, fruit tastings, etc. Watch the calendar. Hubby and I used to go on Sunday for a stroll through the gardens and watch the butterflies. It's a nice place to visit to get away and just relax! We learned about different trees and plants.... This is one of the nicest botanical gardens that I've been to. The grounds are outstanding and you can see a lot of different flowers along with vegetables that are grown in the garden. I've been here twice and from what I understand during the week is the better time to visit, the weekends seem to get a little more... More

We went on family day and it was a wonderful experience. They had many different exhibits and most appealed to children and adults alike, There was also face painting and the artists were very clever. The Garden itself is pleasant. On a non-family day, it is very relaxing to visit and sit among the gifts of nature.

Mounts is a great place to spend a couple of hours enjoying beautiful plantings. It meanders around and the views are truly inspiring. It is one of my favorite gardens in Florida. They have plant sales several times during the year and classes all year long. They also have an exotic fruit festival where you get to sample fruits you... More

Very peaceful garden. Only the occasional plane from the airport interrupts your walk through this naturally beautiful landscape. For photographers interested in getting pictures of planes in flight here is an opportunity. There is a section of the garden where planes can be viewed and photographed without too much difficulty. There are a combination of shaded and open places with... More

Being sited right next to West Palm Beach airport (at the end of the runway) means the tranquil peace of the gardens is shattered frequently by the noise of planes landing and taking off. If you can ignore them, and the mosquitos, then this truly is a lovely place to spend a few hours admiring the plants and landscaping. We... More

The grounds display Florida fauna in a natural habitat. It's a chance for people to get soime great ideas for what to do at their own homes. Many people go to Mounts for engagement and wedding photos and there are banquet facilities. The folks to work and volunteer at Mounts are always happy to share advice and experience. Before landscaping... More

This place is a hidden treasure. There are thousands of plants and trees and the landscaping is done professionally. They had been almost wiped out by a hurricane several years ago and you would never know it. Everyone that is involved with Mounts has put in 100% effort to bring it back. We travel all over the world to stroll... More

This is a beautiful place near the airport. Consider filling those last hours prior to heading home with this comfortable place. Lots of interesting plants and at the beginning hangry Mosquitos (I donated a quart to their cause). Long pants would have solved a problem that was only at the beginning of the walk. Just beautiful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the gardens. I generally look for botanical gardens whenever I travel, and this one did not disappoint. Thanks
