A small zoo with quite a few interesting animals. Helpful attendants. Plenty of shade. A lot of construction going on which affected visiting certain exhibits.

We visited expecting a lively experience but came to find a very run down zoo! The animals, all kept in tiny cages, looked extremely uncared for. The water in most every cage was disgusting and over grown with algae. We probably won't be returning!

This is a nice, fairly shady zoo with several unique species. The otters are fun to watch. As an educator, I have enjoyed the workshops they have presented for teachers. Because it is a smaller zoo, it's a great place to take your children. They also have a nice open area of fountains for children to play.

Due to small size of Palm Beach Zoo, almost all animals are kept in cages. I really don't like the concept of caged animals. That's why Miami Zoo is better for me. However check this out if you're in Palm Beach. I discovered something new like bush dog, white alligator, and patagonian cavy that I've never seen before. Mardi is... More

I have been visiting the Palm Beach Zoo since I was little and it is always enjoyable. It has expanded so much since I was little and I see new things every time I visit. Unlike a lot of Florida Zoos that have trails in the blistering sun, the Palm Beach Zoo is one of the most shaded I have... More

The zoo was smaller then expected for a County zoo, especially in this affluent area. Not worth the admission price in my opinion. I came from Delaware and the Brandywine Zoo there was more impressive.

It's a nice zoo to take the kids to. There are things there to keep them occupied and cooled off. Relatively clean for a zoo.

I love photography, and I love wildlife. Here in the city sometimes its hard to find areas where the two can co-exist. I decided to venture to the Palm Beach Zoo to practice some of my wildlife photography and see what the Zoo is all about. While I will say the Florida heat took its toll, the park was a... More

This is a very nice zoo. Many of the walkways are naturally shaded by the greenery making it pleasant. The demonstrations were informative and up close. This is not the largest zoo but it is by far the more pleasant of the bunch. At the entrance is a circle (world) you can pick a path to the region of animals... More
