Went to the zoo last week but had to leave as far too hot, though there is plenty of shade etc for younger people ( we are just getting a little older) Came back again this week as enjoyed it so much last week apart from the heat which I know is us and nothing to do with the zoo.... More

We were planning to go to Lion Country Safari, but decided it was simply to far, so made a quick detour to the zoo. With our 2 year old in tow, we headed in... Overall, we enjoyed it. It's a small zoo, compared to the zoos we are used to in Chicago, but there was plenty to do and see.... More

Animal areas weren't setup well. I felt like there were repetitive animals throughout the zoo. We enjoyed seeing the bears and hearing the facts from the speaker. The tiger within this zoo seemed very agitated and avoided being in areas where people were.

We went to the Palm Beach Zoo back in March. I was so surprised by the size of the zoo. At first I thought we would get through it in about 45 minutes. Well 3 hours later we were walking out with smiles on our faces! It was myself, husband, 11 month old boy, and grandmother. The zoo was a... More

We love coming to the Palm Beach Zoo. A much smaller zoo than Miami, but the layout is better for small kids and they do have many of the bigger animals - alligators, panthers/jaguars, tigers, bears, kangaroos. No rhinos, elephants, or lions but the ease of getting around and staying in the shade is great. The price is right too... More

I love this zoo. It has lots of trees and shade when walking through the grounds. This is great for temperature and avoiding sunburn. The animals are great and my favorite is the otter exhibit where you can see them swimming underwater.

The only thing I liked about this zoo was its size. Pretty small compared to other zoos so it was manageable for the kids and they didn't get tired. Other than that, it was ok and on the boring side.

We are locals and just adore this zoo. Yes, it's small but the zoo takes good care of their animals and it is reflected in their enrichment programs for the animals. There are lots of animal events and even now some encounter experiences where you can pay a little more to get a "backstage look" at certain species. Employees and... More

We actually attended an affair after hours at the park. it was very nice. They had a wonderful buffet. Park employees were scattered around along the paths with different animals which made the evening interesting.
