When our son moved his family to West Palm Beach late last year, we gave them an annual pass to the zoo. He and his wife have three young daughters. During a recent visit with them, we experienced a special event the zoo has every Friday evening from June through August. Marketed as "Safari Nights - When the Zoo Really... More

This is a small intimate zoo and it has a few good exhibits. I strongly recommend you go on the animal experiences, we did the Koala and the Aldabra Tortoise. Seeing the animals so close was spectacular. The handlers were full of great facts and answered all our questions.

Try to find a coupon for entrance. One adult and one four year old is more than $30.00 to enter. The water fountain is a big hit for the very young is a hit, bring your own chair. You may see one or two animals in each exhibit. Not very exciting, need a lot of work throughout the park. The... More

Perhaps I'm a bit jaded because I've been to various famous and well known zoos around the world, so when coming to see this zoo, it was just ok.

This is a great little zoo with plenty of attractions and really fun to walk about. We went with another couple on one of their theme nights (Roar & Pour) and can't wait to bring the grandkids when they visit.

Where I come from, we have a very large zoo. This was a gated swamp and renamed a zoo. If you have never seen a swamp before and feel more comfortable doing it on wood planks and some netting around cypress trees, then this is the place for you. if you want a real zoo, go to Miami.
