We were surprised with the variety of endangered animals they provide a home to and it was an enjoyable education for three adults and two Tweens who are already well versed in such things Hand feed an Ibis for a fun photo op (bring quarters to buy food by the lemur pond). Remarkable Mayan decorations by the jaguar show a... More

This zoo has a great variety of animals and I love their setup. From the starting point you have 4 different directions and "countries" to go through. Each country leads into the other and it is so easy to get lost in the excitement. Great size zoo and even better animal shows.

This is a fun place to visit. Well laided out into lands. Animals were very active day we visited as it was a cold and windy day. The zoo staff was very I'm formative when they did demonstrations teaching black bears behavioral responses and feeding monies. There are also volunteers spread throughout the zoo who help answer questions. White gator... More

This place is great! The park has a large area by the entrance where kids can run and play in the fountains, so bring their bathing suits. Off from this area are shaded pathways that lead around to various animals. There is a nice airconditioned resturaunt. There is lots of shade, although Florida summers it can still be hot, so... This is one of my favorite zoos! This zoo is so well put together and so nice to experience with children. My kids love the sprinklers when you first walk in so don't forget the bathing suits!

My children (4 & 1) and I absolutely love the zoo. Any day of the week is a good day to visit. We have a family membership, which is worth the money if you are local. We always go early. We've never seen the zoo crowded. It's an easy walk around with cool animal exhibits. We usually watch the bird... More

There is everything there. Animals are seen in natural settings. Be sure to see the over sized Banyan tree near the tiger area. And hang around to see the two alligators, Fred and Myrtle coming to the zookeeper when they hear their names. The tigers are not to be missed.

This zoo only has animals exclusive to Florida. Very interesting and a great layout. Everybody is very friendly and helpful.

Small and not a lot of room for animals. Keepers attempt to keep animals happy and clean. They would do well to have more diversity

This zoo isn't as spaced out as others I have been to, but they pack a lot to see in a smaller amount of space. The zoo is split into different regions with a trail that will wind you through each region and pop you back out in the middle. Some of their enclosures get you very close to view... More
