Our guide was excellent and she knew the story of each animal and it appears they are doing all they can to make the animals comfortable

My husband took me to McCarthy's Wildlife Sanctuary for our anniversary and WOW! They have a variety of tigers, big and smal, white, orange and mixed. They have lions, Lynx, panthers, leopards, and a whole bunch of other animals, crawling and flying. It's sooooooo much better than a zoo. Their staff is very knowledgable about all of the animals and... More

We have visited this sanctuary twice and always walk away in awe! Our children love animals so we are always visiting places with animals. They do an incredible job informing their visitors on the background of each and every animal. You will never get as close to wild animals as you will here. You are literally an arms length away... This was the highlight of our trip to West Palm, as unknown to us, it was too cold to swim here in December, so we went to the zoo, and looked for warmer activities. Exciting adventure for the entire family! This week was my son's 5th birthday; he has been waiting anxiously for a year to visited McCarthy's (minimum age is 5). We went with his 75 year old grandmother and everyone loved it. The tour lasted two hours, was very informative and exciting. We saw lots of big cats -- tigers, lions, panthers,... More

The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable on the animals as far as their species and their backgrounds. She radiated positive energy as well, even when having to deal with some visitors that can not listen to directions like moving along with the tour. It shows that they treat the animals extremely well in the animals sheer excitement and behavior when... More
