Manny was our tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about the animals. VERY clean, very organized, and well worth the money. The cages are very big and with the exception of 2 of the cats, they were all up and moving (and some were very vocal) The only thing I was "disappointed" with is that I wish there was more... More

It is a wonderful place, where the animals live in great conditions and get lots of attention and love from the staff. The big cats appeared mostly unstressed by the visitors who could stand at a hand's reach from them. The cats felt very comfortable with our guide Kara, and even engaged in games with her, which was fun to... More

We went to McCarthy's on 1/23/16 with our 9 year old granddaughter and had a great experience. The guide was great, the educational component was great and the group size was perfect.

We had a fabulous experience at McCarthy's. The animals are beautiful and lively! They look very well fed and cared for. Our tour guide Teddie was extremely knowledgeable and answered all of our questions pleasantly and so informed. The tour was close to 2 hours but went by so quickly because there was so much to see and hear about.... More

The location is easy to find and the refuge offers small group tours that get you up close to the animals. The guide was extremely informative and made sure everybody had a chance to interact with the wildlife. A very enjoyable couple of hours.

Bri did an amazing job she makes her voice really loud so there was no trouble hearing her. They maintain the enclosures very well and have a great relationship with the animals. It is worth the drive.

It was a wonderful and fun experience being close to all of the animals! Teddie was our tour guide. It was very obvious that she was very familiar with all of the animals. She would call them by their names and was able to have them respond to her commands. Teddie was an excellent friendly and professional guide. She provided... More

Toured McCarthy's Wildlife Sanctuary today, it was a wonderful experience, never before been quite so close to so many big cats, or had such a knowledgeable guide (Cara). I will return with grandchildren in the near future.

This wonderful animal habitat's mission is to care for injured or abandoned animals. There are exotic birds, large cats, reptiles and so much more. The guides are extremely knowledgeable and professional and you can get right up close to the animals. Very fun and educational for children and adults. I would highly recommend it.
