The McCarthy's are true animal rescuers and love what they have created here. It is very kind of them to share their property with the public and they all they ask in return is that you respect their animals and enjoy the experience. You must make a reservation at 11:00, 12:00, or 1:00. It will cost you $35 per person... More

Have you ever held a kinkajou? Been three feet from a tiger that's playing with a keeper it knows well? Supported an organization that takes in wild animals with no other safe, loving, stimulating home? You will do all of that if you visit McCarthy's. I have been twice and it's always a highlight of my time in West Palm... More

We were enlightened and impressed with everything and everyone at McCarthy's Wildlife Sanctuary. Kara was our guide. From the first stop with the beautiful birds, to all the 'wild cats', you could tell she loves what she does. Her bond with the animals was genuine. Kara talks with the animals so tenderly and they respond to her with such softness.... More

McCarthy's Wildlife Sanctuary is home for unwanted, abused or injured animals. There are lions, tigers, leopards, monkeys, parrots, and snakes just to name a few. Our guide interacted with all the animals and we got to hold and pet a few. It was a wonderful hour and half tour. Children need to be over 5 and in my opinon it... More

This is definitely the place to visit if you love animals and want to learn more about them. Our tour was approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes, the sanctuary was both sunny and shady so although we were there when the weather was sunny and muggy, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Our guide Brie was great! She was not only... More

I have never paid much attention to cats. When I went to McCarthy's Wildlife Sanctuary I was having a blast. The cats seam very happy and are well taken care of. You can get pretty close to their enclosed habitats. I was also able to play with a few baby white tigers. I was hesitant about attending but I got... More

This is a hot part of Florida...so I was happily surprised to find lively active wonderful animals...Kara the tour leader has a full and loving knowledge and relationship with the creatures. The animals were obviously happy to see her, and jumped around playing and in the case of the birds. Talking to her. We were also happy to see the... More

If you love animals this is a great place to visit. You can get very close to tigers, lions, etc. If you want you can handle a huge snake and at least one other animal. I forget the name of it because it is rare but it's cute and furry. Our tour guide Brie was great. She was fun, informative... More

Worth every cent to be able to have such an up close experience with large exotic cats, reptiles and other amazing animals. The tour is well executed, extremely informative and fun for all ages. Especially young children. My daughter who is 5 1/2 will never forget it. She had the opportunity to handle turtles, a baby alligator and a large... More

My family just loved this Animal Santuary! It was a thrill to be so close to animals. Very clean and friendly park. Well worth the money for this very personal experience. Highlight of my trip!
