Mermaid shows kids love. The have a nice slow boat cruise and animal show. Restrooms are clean and air conditioned. Shady playground and after you do that side of the park, you can go and take a dip in the cool springs. The water stays 71-74 all year. A deal at $13 (8 for kids). This park is located only... More

We've been going to pine island since we bought our house in spring hill in the 80's. Many changes over the years. Spring hill is our home away from home. We're from toronto. Our grand kids love it here. Beach is clean, quiet and safe. Great for families with young children. Beach is not man made as indicated by some.... More

Can be crowded at Spring Break so get there early. Ideal for kids as shallow water. Kept clean and toilets handy. Plus a snack bar. Limited on parking due to it being a spit of land. Love the sunsets.

This was just a short drive out of Weeki-Wachi Springs, so we packed a lunch and enjoyed a few relaxing hours there. The man-made beach held in by a seawall is nice, and the water has different depth levels scattered in a semi-circle around the grassy center. A playground for the kiddies sits right in the middle of the compact... More

If want a day of relaxing and playing with the kids at the beach, this is the place. You wont find loud radios or massive crowds. Its clean, quiet and laid back. There are shelter houses, grills n picnic areas, a nice playground and snack bar. You do pay $5.00 to park but on many occasions I have seen ppl... More

I guess we are spoiled to live so close to Clearwater beach and Honeymoon Island, because we were not at all impressed with Pine Island and dont plan on ever going back!

What a beautiful place and easy to get to! We drove from Hudson FL and it took us less than half an hour. Bring your swim suit and beach towel!

The sunsets here are just gorgeous, with the palm trees and dolphins swimming by. The downside is that the beach is man-made, which is something that I am not used to (being from the E Coast of FL). Did not go in the water because it was only 60 degrees outside. Very nice small and romantic park.
