The factory tour was a really interesting look into the assembly and parts that need to come together to make a smaller aircraft. It's a small enough production area that you can get close to some of the machines and they'll let you hold some parts. For me it was most fascinating to see the industry and work behind the... 2 hour tours on Tue/Wed/Thursday, 10AM and 1PM. Reservations Required, tours@piper.com. Very interesting and informative but tour is only as good as the tour guide (usually a Piper retiree). I found it very educational and asked many questions both about the product and personnel. If you are going to be in the Vero Beach area for awhile this could be... More

The fact that Piper allows and supports tours has to be commended. I have piloted several Piper Aircraft over the past 40 years so I thought a trip to the place of their origin would be very interesting. Two hours of looking at sub-assemblies and components left me a bit underwhelmed, though it would have been great for enthusiasts of... More

If you are passioned about airplanes, you like machines and want to see a plane come to life you are in the right place here. It started with the reservation of the tour. Daphne was really helpful, explained all the details about the way and the tour. By the way: the tours are free. We had the chance to meet... More

It's been a part of Vero Beach history for awhile and a contributor to the community. So I was pleased to take a tour. There was so much to learn. But there were undertones in the folks who conducted the tour. After inquiring of several people I know, the employees at Piper are very much afraid of the repercussions of... More

As both a private pilot and engineer the tour was interesting informative. The tour guide was a retired VP of manufacturing for Piper and 40 years (as far as I can remember) of service at the company, so knew all the details you could want to learn about manufacturing Pipers. while we saw most of the manufacturing space (they make... Having been a resident of Vero beach since the 1960s it was neat to visit Piper Aircraft last month with a friend who was taking delivery of a new Mirage aircraft. I was impressed to see exactly what it takes to make an airplane and at Piper, very little is built off site. If a person has an interest and... More

How much we learned about Piper that we didn't know. Their history is so interesting. This tour is free, though you need pre-reservations. It was about 2 hours. We were so pleased and amazed with this globally recognized Aircraft Manufacterer. Right here in our own backyard!

Sales manager was very helpful and showed my son and I all the aircraft, even allowing us to sit in the most expensive ones.
