Rarely open. Call before you go. Could be a fantastic place to visit if it had regular hours and offered more information.

We enjoyed this attraction a lot. Not only does it contain items of interest to train buffs but it also has displays of local history as well. The building has been moved from its original location but is still noteworthy.

Love this tiny museum. History of Citrus, lots of photographs of the old Vero Beach. It is near the Original Court House which is also a great place to visit.

No cost, a quick 30 minutes to take in so much Vero history. A wonderful place for children & adults.

My son loves trains. We figured we would check out this little museum as it had good ratings on Tripadvisor. The hours of operation were clear online and even on the building. We were there on Friday 12/7 at 10 am. Nobody. When nobody showed for 10 minutes we walked to the park. We came back at 10:45. Nobody. You... More

Just a one room stop but worth it. Take the kids after playing at Pocohontas Park.

I love learning about old Vero Beach, so this was worth the trip. It is small and there is not much to appeal to young children, however, that may change in the future. The volunteers and staff are knowledgeable & dedicated. From here, you will learn about other historical landmarks and locations to visit in the area.

This station was built in 1903 and then moved to the current downtown site in 1987. The Indian River County Historical Society uses it for as a one room exhibition on the local Vero Beach history. Some interesting photos and items relating to trains and the station but not much else. It is worth noting the comment about station's segregated... More
