This is a nice beach with clean water and you can walk for a long stretch. It has a pier where you can fish and walk on. There is also a restaurant and bar where you can get something to eat and drink. There is also plenty of free parking.

We stay in Englewood when we come down to Florida. While there are closer beaches to go to they are very rocky, steep incline/decline to get into/out of the water and can be very shelly. We look for a beach that we can relax on, wade into the water and float and have bathroom facilities nearby. Venice has that. The... More

I felt safe to swim as there are several lifeguard stands there. There is yoga on the beach in the morning and a volleyball court. Very calm and quiet during the off season and early mornings.

The Beach is clean and well kept. It's nice to be able to go to the Beach, find a place to park, and just spread out & enjoy yourself without having someone else on top of you. That's my kind of beach!

Easily accessed, a little bit browner & courser sand, large white drain pipe is a bit unsightly, no umbrella rentals when we were there but it was the week after Labor Day, life guards were on duty during the day.

Not too crowded and a bit uneven but good for finding shark's teeth. Fairly shallow at low tide but drops off on places. Would be good for kids in general.

The beach was so clean. There were lifeguards on duty. The water was so pretty, the waves were so fun to play in and the beach area was not super crowded. Clean, new walkways to get to the beach as well water sources to clean off sand before leaving.

I have been coming to Venice to visit my parents for over 20 years. We have been to all the local beaches and find that there are great and unique features to them all. The Venice beach is great because of the parking, pavilion, and walkability. This trip my wife and I took a late day trip for a walk... More

Drain pipe on beach sort of makes you wonder what comes out of it. Of all the local beaches it has the oldest facilities.
