The dog park in Venice is the best place to take your friendly pet. No matter how big or small, they all get along. The park has a play area in the grass on one end and a beach on the other. It's a great place to meet other dog lovers and exercise your dog. It's one of our favorite... More

Good size. Shady. A path for walking around park. Picnic tables and/or benches available. Two watering areas for dogs providing: a drink, a bath, or a little dip in a baby pool. So nice to have this available to us.

My dogs have been going to to dog parks for years...this one is nice with all the big, shady trees. lots of benches, water , bags to use. They offer a small dog section and a large dog section...they even have "time out" section! Now for the bad news...this town has a lot of tourists and snowbirds. The reason this... More

Dogs love the beach too. It is great to go and watch the dogs in a free environment, running, swimming and seated with their family. Great fun

This park is well shaded and enough benches for people to sit down. The place is very clean and people are respectful of one another. Even if you don't have a dog, go and enjoy other people's pets!

This is a great dog park well maintained by Sarasota County. Nice entryway area and place to clean and bath dogs after the visit to the water. Picnic tables are nice for lunch and allowing your dogs to run. Plenty of dog bag areas if you can not find your bag to be a responsible owner and pickup. There were... More

Two areas, one large for dogs to run around and cavort...and a smaller fenced area for the smaller daintier breeds. Picnic tables, trees and shade. Dogs here are better behaved and friendlier.
