Dogs love the beach too. It is great to go and watch the dogs in a free environment, running, swimming and seated with their family. Great fun

Other than the Venice Dog Beach, this is the only place that the public can run their dogs. I wish there were more in Venice. The shade is a welcome feature, especially during the hot sunny days.

This park is well shaded and enough benches for people to sit down. The place is very clean and people are respectful of one another. Even if you don't have a dog, go and enjoy other people's pets!

This is a great dog park well maintained by Sarasota County. Nice entryway area and place to clean and bath dogs after the visit to the water. Picnic tables are nice for lunch and allowing your dogs to run. Plenty of dog bag areas if you can not find your bag to be a responsible owner and pickup. There were... More

Very nice park. Large dog area is big & well maintained with walking trail around outside & plenty of room for dogs to run in the middle. Small dog area needs a bit of work, Shade is nice on these hot days but area is in need of some clean up. Enough leaves on the ground to b considered compost... More

Two areas, one large for dogs to run around and cavort...and a smaller fenced area for the smaller daintier breeds. Picnic tables, trees and shade. Dogs here are better behaved and friendlier.

This is a great place to take your dog. There is a fenced in park area where dogs can run around. There are picnic tables and outdoor shower area to hose off your dog after they swim. The beach is great and the dogs can run off leash. There are areas with dog bags if you forget to bring one.

We loved the doggie play area at the entrance to the dog beach. Great to be able to have our dog on the beach without disturbing others.

Just to set the records straight, there are 2 dog parks in Venice. Both are wonderful for dogs and their owners. The Woodmere Paw Park has 2 areas. One for small dogs and a larger area for large dogs. They are very clean and provide water for the dogs and poop bags. They are both completely fenced in. The other... More
