Played twice this past week...over 5 hours each round! Very poor pace of play, rangers are clueless! On one hole there were 5 groups...one on the green, one in the fairway and three waiting to tee off!!! I will never (yes, never) make a tee time there again! Course is not in good shape, greens are rocks and the staff... More

You are treated like Royalty from the moment you arrive to drop off your bags. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. The course itself is in very fine shape. The tee boxes and fairways are in excellent shape as are the greens. The greens are very challenging with a lot of contour

My wife, our two sons and I were made up to a fourball by a very likeable USA couple from near the Skyway bridge (the wives being non-golfers). This interesting course was in very good condition and (as advised by the starter) relatively easy to play . . . until you reached the challenging greens. They were faster than we... More

A warm staff greets you as you register. The starter is full of local information...and this course that cuts thru the wilderness becons. While there are several short par fours...some driveable...the penalty for missing can be severe. Undulating greens challenge the best putters...and the par threes are demanding. This is a fun course from all the tees...and will not break... More

We play this course at least once per week during the winter season. The course is always in excellent condition. Wide fairways invite you to let out the shaft on the tees, but the greens take it all back with subtle breaks that will challenge the best putters. During your round, you will see Alligators, Osprey, White Pelicans and other... More

Played late February while on vacation from Rhode Island and the course was is great shape. Best greens I've played on in the area. Plenty of room off the tee. Many of the greens are multi tiered, forcing you to hit the right part of the green to avoid a long, difficult putt. A must play!!

This is a very beautiful golf course, fairly wide fairways but lots of trouble around in the form of sand traps and water. It is very enjoyable to play with a lot of natural vegetation surrounding each hole. There are many new homes being built around the course now which is nice to see.

This is an excellent course. Lots of room between the holes and challenging course with sand, water and tricky entries to holes.

The golf course here is 4/5 but the rest is not. In a partially started development (and stopped several years ago.) the setting leaves much to be desired. Staff is ok. And it's NOT in Sarasota, it's in Venice, at least a 30 minute drive from Downtown Sarasota. Not a value unless you get a discount on Teeoff.com or golfnow.com.
