Great little theatre

Venice Theatre has many popular plays and for me, the best is the Loveland Follies put on every year by the students with disabilities from Loveland. Such a worthwhile show.

Venice is a small town between Sarasota and Fort Myers. Downtown Venice has a city square with lots to do and great places to eat. The beach is a little walk from the city square area. And in downtown Venice is a real gem. The Venice Theater. Two stages. Great live theater productions for a very modest price. This is... More

We went for the first time back in 2012. Have been many times since. I was used to the squishy seats on/off Broadway in New York. Here the seats felt Huge. The shows are fantastic. Everyone who works there are very friendly. The theater is in town so you can make a night of it eating at the finest resturants... More

I always enjoy the productions put on by Venice Theatre. The talent, costumes, and sets rival plays I've seen in Chicago. Thoroughly enjoyable entertainment

We have season tickets to the Venice Theatre and don't miss a performance. For a small town theatre, it is outstanding in every way. The variety of shows , the quality of the actors, the outstanding support staff, and the general atmosphere are excellent. And it's a great bargain in exchange for extraordinary entertainment.

Venice Theater presents diverse and stunning performances that offer something for everyone. Whether its dramatic, comedy, progressive, musicals, off broadway, or children's theater, you won't be disappointed. My entire family (Grandparents, parents, siblings, spouse, & children) have been attending Venice Theatre since we moved here and generally subscribe to Main Stage, Second Stage, or both!

This wonderful theater is located in downtown Venice,FL. There is plenty of parking next to the theater and across the street in the municipal parking lot. The theater offers comfortable seating, great acoustics, and wonderful live theater. As a resident of Venice, I totally enjoy going to the Venice Theater where I do enjoy theater.
