The Venice Pier has done nothing but improve since I started walking on it 30 years ago. I have seen piers come and go (because of hurricanes). This one, made out of man made composite, is easy to walk and has lovely views.

The Venice Fishing Pier is like many fishing piers, with some exceptions. For one thing, one of the most popular seafood restaurants is just landside of the Pier. We were waiting for our table the day we last went. Strolling on the pier at sunset is a treat; the sun sets at the end. Or you may catch or watch... More

One of the first things we do when we get to venice each year is to walk the beach to the fishing pier. We can feel the stress melt away. Although we dont fish, we like to watch the fishermen do their thing. We have seen dolphins, rays, pelicans. Great spot to watch the world go by on the Gulf.

This is a great pier to walk out on, fish from, or watch the sun set. Sharky's restaurant is located by the pier.

The pier is typical for a SW Florida pier. Great to walk out into the Gulf. Good venue to fish from and enjoy the scenery around you. Excellent to watch the sunset.

Every time I have been here, the sunsets have been breathtaking. They catch Sharks at the end of the pier almost every night and bring them up, a very cool experience for all ages.

If you're close enough to walk, it's worth it, but don't make a special trip for just a peir. It does offer a pretty view for a picture.

I like Anita's Sandcastle on the Pier. Great hotdog shack. Lots of people fishing, but not crowded. This is a big pier with lots of room.

Nice pier where you can take a stroll and watch the sunset. There is a restaurant (Sharkys and Fins ) attached to this pier that have live bands playing where you can listen to the music from the pier. There is also a small vending shop on the pier itself that sells bait, food , t-shirts and candy. The only... More
