Every time I come to Florida and visit my girlfriend in Harbour Heights this is the beach we go to. Never over crowded not dirty very clean not a tourist trap and God I hope it always stays that way. We spent the whole day here peaceful and quiet relaxing and refreshing. The ocean was a bit rough but still... More

My husband and I really loved walking this pier. It's nice and long, and we saw so much wildlife in such a short period of time. The water is a beautiful greenish color. We saw several dolphins, which got really close to the pier, osprey, and some other fish. The fisherman were also fun to listen to, and to see... More

What a great place to visit! The beaches were pristine and the views amazing. This is a free public beach with a long fishing pier jutting out into the water. There is a bati shop/souvenir shop/snack stand located midway on the lengthy pier which is a great convenience to pier visitors. Sharky's On The Pier is a waterfront bar &... More

Another couple came with us to walk the pier on our last night in the Venice area. It was a beautiful evening. Lots of people fishing very seriously. Saw some large fish that had already been caught and realized why this place is so popular. We also saw Manta Rays swimming to one side of the pier. Beach is under... More

We were shocked to discover the beach was undergoing sand replenishment from dredging. All we could do was visit the pier. There are no signs directing patrons to the pier Or other beaches. The dredging will continue until the end of may. Call before you go.

Much of the beach was closed for 'renourishment' which is quite the project. We did see manatee from the pier as well as the sunset.

Great place for a meal or drink while watching the sunset. Also a good fishing spot. Get a lot of people on the weekend.

We ate at Sharky's on the pier. Pricey, but pretty good food. Quite a view! The pier is amazing! Long and well over the water! Saw dolphins and fisherman reeling in their catch of the day. Beautiful beach area. Clean rest rooms. Take your camera!

I loved walking on the pier on our visit to Venice. There were tonnes of people fishing and the birds that stopped on the pier to try to get a bite were wonderful to watch. The man who sells ice cream at the stand on the pier was so nice. Beautiful views.

My husband loves fishing and this didn't disappoint. There was plenty of room so lines didn't get tangled.
