The pier is an extension into the gulf from Sharkys and the Fin restaurants. Its usually full of locals who come early to grab their favorite spots for fishing. The breeze is nice and keeps the tourists cool while waiting for their carry on buzzers to go off indicating their table is ready .Bring your camera and take pictures of... More

Stopped here on a day trip from Orlando. The parking was free and the beach was beautiful. My husband and I really enjoyed the laid back feel the area has, a lovely change from the hustle we've had in Orlando whilst on holiday

Easy to get to, lots of parking. Pier is very nice. Walked the beach, not much in way of shells. There is a restaurant there also, we didn't go in looked to expensive for us.

While waiting for a table at Sharky's, we strolled out on the pier for one of the best views of the gulf in this area. There were lots of people, some of them fishing. One fisherman created quite a lot of excitement when he caught a shark and released it at the edge of the beach. They don't call it... More

The beach was wonderful. I thought the water was great for swimming although my husband thought it was a little cold. We had supper at Sharky's and the food was excellent.

If you're in Venice around sunset, make your way to the fishing pier. It's got the best view towards the West and allows you to bask in the sunset and all it's marvel.

Fish offers good view of area beaches and shoreline. Always people, birds, and fish to check out. Sharky's at the entrance with good food.

Stroll along the pier and watch people catching all manner of fish, after dark you are likely to find someone with a shark on their line. Or lean on the railing to watch beachgoers and the gulf waters. Don't... More
