The fishing pier is always a fun place to walk but it is especially nice at sunset. I walked with a very nice big dog who was a hit.

We love this beach/ pier. The water is clear, parking is FREE, and it's not too crowded, even during the season. Great spot!!

It was a very windy day and all we did was walk out to the end of the pier and walk back! The view was spectacular! There were a lot of people eating in the restaurant, inside and out! Parking seemed plentiful. Looks like they had fishing tackle for rent and plenty of people to help.

Ah so pretty the beach is less crowded than Venice and just as nice. Free parking, restrooms, and the bonus is Sharkey's on the beach. Always crowded, but just hang out on the pier. To my surprise a big new addition to the restaurant. Food on the pier to purchase and all your fishing needs

Love it! Great place for pictures. We saw a guy catch a hammerhead off the pier and the kids loved it! Watch out for stingrays if you swim, they are in abundance!

If you want to get pictures of all of Venice Beach this is the place to go. While doing it you can watch the other activity going on the Pier. Food and drinks available. Kids will like it here also

Not only did we enjoy the waves--5 or 6 dolphins entertained us for about an hour while they played in the surf.

Every year we go to FL, we enjoy visiting Sharkeys and the Venice Fishing PIer. Great place to take friends for food as well as talking to some of the fishermen!

Stopped by and saw a 7-8' sandbar shark being caught, after several attempts to land him they finally had to walk back the length of the pier and land him on the beach before releasing. Kids loved it. Bought a couple of screen nets to use for shark tooth collection from the vendor on the pier.

I visited the Pier on two different occasions and enjoyed both times. On my first visit I saw many fishermen catching Spanish Mackerel, sometimes 3 at a time. On our second visit at sundown (beautiful) we saw a stingray come to the surface and then jump out of the water 4 times (neat). I understand they have even caught sharks... More
