We have been visiting here for years. It's great for all ages. I have seen dolphins, manatee and sea turtles over the years. It's fun to fish or just watch others fish. Great for sunsets as well.

Free Fun is always more fun. We have been there on numerous times and each time you see something new. The first time was spent soaking up the sun and enjoying the view and breeze. The second, we walked at night and i remember being 3/4 of the way out when i heard someone yell SHARK! A boy had caught... More

The restaurant is located on the water. Inside or outside eating. Extremely busy. Good food and good drinks.

Plenty of free parking, free access, we saw a large cloud of bait fish, plated-sized jelly fish and a few small fish being reeled in. Many people fishing using everything from light tackle to real heavy duty stuff. There are several restaurants and bars there too.

Looks like a great place to snorkel. Has a great play area for kids. Brand new restrooms. Not a good swimming beach in some spots.

We headed to the pier after dinner @ Sharky's. Nice for the most part except for the obnoxious teenagers...

2 nice piers to fish at in Venice with bait available close by. We saw turtles and a few manatees. Didn't catch any large fish but caught enough to keep us interested for a few hours a day.

The fishing pier is a must see for visitors to venice. It's a great landmark and also a fantastic place to fish. The pier is free to visit and car parking is also free. Although the handrails and pier sides overlooking the water are not very clean, they do provide running sea water and fish cutting tables every 20 yards... More
