Take a minute to walk the pier before or after lunch at Sharkey's! Take in the beautiful scenic Gulf view!

The Pier is a nice place to be around sunset. There are always a lot of fishermen and women. You can rent poles or bring your own. The fish caught for non locals is always interesting. You can hear music from Sharkey's or take a nice walk on the beach and look for sharks teeth (after all it is the... More

A pretty good pier for watching the sunset. Free parking is also very nice. Sharkeys is right there as well if you care to have a drink or something to eat. There is no charge to get on the pier as well. Surface is very level as it appears it was just renovated in the last few years with the... More

We have visited this pier for the last 12 or so years. The pier and the parking is free (not common). We usually fish or check to see if anyone else is catching anything. We have seen everything from dolphins and manatees to sharks and tarpon. The sunsets are always nice and lots of people walk out to the end... More

Since we are local we go here for sunsets quite often. Beautiful place. Has the most amazing views of the Gulf of Mexico.

It was nice but not great, restaurant abutting it made you lose the beach feeling. The pier was ok but the Naples pier was so much nicer. Went once not in a hurry to go back. The locals were friendly and were part of the atmosphere which did add to the experience.

good variety of fishing from the pier year round, tackle & rods may be rented & live bait shrimp may be bought on the pier, however rare its patrolled, though somewhat well lit, young pre & teen can be vulger & present late hours unsupervised, so if your bringing family with young kids be advised

If you are going to Venice, then don't miss this, a characterful wooden pier with fantastic views and a decent restaurant

No place to take kids in the evenings as the filthy language used by young delinquent fishermen on the pier is deplorable!
