My cocker loved the beach. Great signage, polite patrons, dogs well-mannered on beach and in fenced communal area near parking lot. They provide refuse bags at the beach. Signage indicates dogs should be on leash on the boardwalk between fenced area at the parking area and the beach, due to alligators in the dense shrub area below the boardwalk. My... More

Overall a nice little park for the dogs to enjoy...there is a separation for small dogs and big dogs. We didn't encounter any misbehaved dogs. Once you leave the park theres a path towards the beach and on the right is the doggy beach. Lots of dogs here...if your dogs are timid, like mine, just stay towards the back as... More

Can't wait to take my Yellow Lab to this beach someday - he will have a blast. Lots of dogs playing & swimming in the water. I wouldn't take a small child however. This is not sand that you want to get into a toddlers' mouth. Nope! But great fun for the dogs & owners definitely!!!

This is an awesome dog park that is just perfect for all you dog lovers !! You can go and have fun & still be right on the beach without having to deal with people that do not want you or your dog near them. It is also a great place to meet other dog lovers and have nice conversation.

Took our Golden to dog beach, and it was FABULOUS! Just a few tips for the older, (like me) dog lovers. IT is a LONG walk from the parking lot to the beach, so beware, if you are carrying breakfast, lunch and dinner. Some OTHER dogs have a nice habit of lifting their leg, and marking your beach bag, or... More

Was in town for the Fox Lea horse show with our lab. Watched our daughter ride in the show, then took our lab to the beach. Poo bags along the walk way, and showers near the exit. The waves are calmer than our home on the east coast near Fort Lauderdale. A few people had their dogs on paddle boards.... More

This is the only dog approved beach and it is a nice outing for any dog. My dog loved frolicking in the waves and on the beach. This was my first time going and it was right before a storm was brewing so no one was out there. we decided just to let him run around for a bit before... More

We have taken our dogs several times and it is bliss! Beautiful beach, plenty of room, poop facilities everywhere, nice boardwalk, and happy dogs everywhere. Our dogs swam, chased the ball, and played off leash with the other dogs. The best dog beach ever! Also has a freshwater hose to rinse off the sandy dogs and humans. I did heed... More
