My fiancé and I recently took a few days to go down to the keys to celebrate her completing her doctorate of physical therapy. Unfortunately the rigging on our sailboat broke just before the trip, and we were not able to get it fixed in time. Once we got down to the keys, we were bummed that none of the... More

I had the same experience as JAC_France. Mike was lovely, took us out on a modern and clean boat, but then docked at a reef that was lifeless and colorless. I've been snorkeling many times before, and this was by far the worst spot I've seen. I'm not sure why Mike chose this spot (there were many boats on the... More

We took a snorkeling trip based on the rave reviews from TripAdvisor. We were only two, and the captain took us out to the reefs. The boat was very nice and clean and we had a nice time on the boat in the sea. However, we were also disappointed because of several factors. First, the snorkeling was very disappointing. It... We had an awesome time snorkeling with Mike, Jen and Alex. They know the area well, so you snorkel in places that are not full of tourists. They were very supportive of first time "snorkelers". The fish were colorful and diverse, and they sail with only up to 6 people. We had the boat to ourselves. On a side note,... More

And the thing that made it really great was our snorkeling trip! Mike and Jen were pleasant, hospitable, and helpful with all of us novices (we are from Denver), old and young (family with kids in 20's). They told us just what to do and what to look for. The fish were gorgeous and fascinating, and we had the reef... More

This is THE way to enjoy the waters off Key Largo without the crowded snorkeling trips offered by commercial dive boats. Sail to reefs not visited by others. Crew was helpful, knowledgeable and fun to spend the day with. Their canine sailor mate, Joy, was an extra treat for everyone on board. You can snorkel or dive as you wish.... More

We did our open water check out with Jen and Mike years ago. When my fiancee needed some scuba instruction, I naturally thought of Jen. She is a thoughtful, experienced dive instructor who provides highly personalized instruction in a low stess environment. She and Mike select wonderful less-travelled dive locations, and make you at home while on their boat. The... More

Mike and Jen pride themselves in working with small groups, and our case was no exception. They were happy to take just two of us out to sea. Originally, we were thinking of snorkeling, but Jen got us excited about diving. Upon a successful introductory course, we went diving on a reef about 6 nautical miles off shore. Jen is... More

We spent 2 days diving with this outfit and loved every minute. The sailboat is such a relaxing change of pace from the typical dive boat. Jen and Mike are wonderful hosts; they live on the boat!. Be sure to get them to tell you some stories ("how they met"by Jen and "the night spent buried in sand breathing through... More

Jen guided my husband and I on our first dive since earning our Scuba Certification. Both Jen and Mike were extremely helpful and made us feel very comfortable. We dove two days with them, two dives each day. The sail boat took us out a couple hours to the reef, the boat was comfortable and relaxing. They made sure to... More
