Great experience. Both Bob and Ann show expertise and patience in teaching and also hosting. Well worth a look.

I recently spent a week with three friends learning the "ropes" with Bob and Ann aboard their 42 ft Catalina sailboat. Only two of us actually took lessons while the other two who were experienced sailors came along to enjoy the ride. Bob and Ann simply do it all - not are they patient and thorough instructors, they cook(amazing meals),... More

My wife and I and two friends arrived on a Monday evening, We were greeted heartily by Bob and Ann, affectionately now called BOBANNA. After a great breakfast late next morning we headed out to sea. Thanks to Bob and Ann's great seamen ship we spent the rest of the week sailing, motoring, snorkeling and discovering KEY places in the... More

Captain Bob demonstrates patience and provides excellent instructions for sailors of all levels. He provides instruction that is enjoyable and challenging all at the same time. I feel I am a much better sailor after spending 4 days under his guidance.

My wife and I recently embarked on a five day learning to sail excursion with Bob and Ann. We not only had fun seeing the Keys but learned sailing basics and got to spend some wonderful time with lovely people. My biggest concern was that our lack of sailing knowledge would impinge on the fun, but with the paitient teaching... More

In life, one has expectations. Often we temper them so that we aren't disappointed. In the case of our coures+cruising aboard Selah with Ann and Bob, I actually had high hopes based on our communications with them and thoroughness of their preparations. Well, the week aboard Selah exceeded those expectations many-fold! My wife Robin and I had fun, we learned... More

This was my first time sailing and I can't believe how much I enjoyed it. I'm sure that had a lot to do with Captains Bob + Ann. They make you feel at home out there on the ocean and they have a natural way of explaining everything which makes it easier than I had expected. In addition the Captains... More

The art of sailing is not lost when aboard Selah. The spirit that surrounds the boat, the freedom of the sails blowing in the wind, and the knowledge and adventurous spirit of Bob and Ann made the adventure fly by. Ducking under the boom, tightening the ropes, jamming to some TobyMac, eating by sunset...it was an unbeatable experience.

Our afternoon and evening sale was fantastic - a hot and sunny day to be on the water. Captains Ann and Bob were great - learn some sailing lingo, also learned that Ann and Bob do everything pertaining to being a Captain with hand signals - we were completely awed by this. I've been on sail boats where there was... More
