This dive center is a must stop for divers and snorkelers alike. I completed my open water certification down here and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful both off and on the boat. My instructor Ben is an awesome guy and all the other instructors are friendly and patient with divers of all caliber. When I come back to... More

This is the 2nd time out with FKDC. Great crew and snorkeling sites. Only 20 minutes until you're in the water. Definitely will be back on board soon.

Before I give this review, let me please explain that I am a former military diver and spent over 30 weeks at the US Naval Diving and Salvage Training Center in Panama City, Florida. I know what learning to dive and good dive instructors are all about as I was taught by the very best in the world. That was... More

During our recent visit to the Keys, we were so happy with the staff and services at this dive shop. We had a wonderful time, rental equipment was superb, items we needed to purchase were in stock and the general attitude of friendliness and helpfulness is priceless. I also needed an "odd, atypical" repair, and I was so fortunate as... More

This Florida Keys Dive Center went out of the way to offer us a great night dive on 8/9/2014. We were doing training and they accommodated our schedule and needs. They were extremely courteous and knowledgeable and a very efficient operation. At no time did they make us feel rushed or that they were not there for us. When we... More

I've logged over 1500 dives in 24 years, this is the first dive shop I have ever encountered where the owner wants to charge extra to fill a 3300. Like the extra 300 psi takes so much more when their banks are at 4000. They have also lost fill cards(im sure it was "accidental", so keep your fill card with... More

We are sorry to hear that this customer is not satisfied with our services, but we would like all our customers receiving air fills from us to understand the following: As the dive shop across the street confirmedly does, too, we charge our air fills by volume just as one pays gas by the gallon at the gas station or,... I planned a keys vacation and planned on being in key west toward the end of the vacation but wanted to do a lobster dive. I called this really nice lady a few months ago and she went out of here way to find a place on the boat for me and my fiance. The day before the dive she... More

Spent 5 days diving with FKDC, 5 Boy Scouts & 4 adults. Did AOW certification and every available type of dive. Teaching staff, shop stafff, boat captains, and first mates were all fantastic. Knowledgeable, helpful, pleasant, professional, and safety conscious. Terrific experience! Highly Recommend FKDC!

In early 2014 I wrote to several dive schools around Key Largo asking for both information about themselves and also recommendations of where a family of 5 (3 being teenage boys) and Yvonne from FKDC was the only one who came back to me both offering advice on where to stay plus websites to find other places together with the... I chose FKDC as they have their own boats (lots of dive operators seem to share boats). These are big boats - 28 divers on one trip. Not an issue in itself, never felt too crowded, but - and this is a BIG but, you end up with trainee divers on the boat & dives have to be pitched to... More

Dear IB_dive, thank you very much for your feedback. However, we would like to share our point of view with you and other readers. First of all, the locations for our trips are "Captain's Choice" unless a customer specifically requests a certain dive site. That day there was no request for Molasses Reef at all neither from you nor from... More
