I chose FKDC as they have their own boats (lots of dive operators seem to share boats). These are big boats - 28 divers on one trip. Not an issue in itself, never felt too crowded, but - and this is a BIG but, you end up with trainee divers on the boat & dives have to be pitched to... More

We had 4 adults and 2 kids 11 and 13 yrs old. The Captain and crew were great. We had divers and snorkelers and the crew guided both groups so we all had a good time. The sites we stopped at were beautiful as well. The only negative comment I have was the snorkel my husband ended up with leaked... More

Recently returned (6-11-14) and had another great dive with FKDS. This time did a 2 tank reef trip since I have been spending a lot of time on the wrecks. Signed on for Conch Wall with a 2nd dive on Horseshoe. Went to 100ft on Conch and 25ft on Horseshoe. Both were very good. Seen some of the new Elk... More

I went diving with a boat load of other people which made me a little nervous. There were about 18 of us on the boat. I was nervous that I wouldn't receive the service I have had with other dive companies. It soon became apparent that I had no fears. The dive master that was in charge of my group... More

We rented multiple setups for multiple days here and were able to work out a deal for a reasonable price. All the gear was in great condition and they were able to provide everything we needed. The only issue was the one time we sent the girls to refill our tanks they came back complaining the guys working there wouldn't... More

We took our family (2 teenagers and mom) to go diving/snorkeling and had a great experience. The captain was super friendly and conversational during the whole 4hr boat ride and made us feel very comfortable. There were 2 very sick people aboard and they were cared for very well given the conditions. They also helped my 12yr old son feel... More

This place has the best Captains, Crew and Boats in the Florida Keys! The owner Captain Tom is always close by and sometimes will even will run one of their two beautiful new dive boats. They do technical and recreational diving. This place is first class all the way.

I recently did my IDC(instructor development course) with Florida Keys Dive Center. I had Sally Siebert as my course director and teacher for the duration of the IDC. She was absolutely fantastic and totally went the extra mile to make sure i was prepared for the IE. Of course i passed the IE with great scores largely due to her... More

I've used Florida Keys Dive Center 4 times. I don't get down that way too often. Usually I dive the Gulf of Mexico, but always enjoy diving the Keys when I get the chance. I was referred to Florida Keys Dive Center by my instructor who has used them over 20 times. As a certified PADI Divemaster, I dive quite... More

My husband and I have been down to dive with Florida Keys Dive Center on 3-4 separate weekend trips in the last year. He has his DiveMaster and I have my Rescue Diver. Great professional operation and the friendliest staff - they really welcome and remember us each time we come down, especially Mike and Stephanie. The reefs off Islamorada... More
