Capt Slate runs a top notch dive boat charter for scuba divers. You can witness excellent boat navigation as the captain maneuvers the boat into the slip from a confined area. The crew on the boats have always been knowledgable and helpful. I once got separated from the boat while diving in rough seas (through no fault of theirs), and... More

This is such a rip off. He guy showed up 1 hour late. The attitude of the staff was oh well that is how it it. The creature feature is not what is advertised. He could not even find the eel.. we did!

My daughter just finalized her dive certification with Captain Slate. Thanks for the awesome experience. So down to earth, enthusiastic and caring. Glad she had this experience here. I highly recommend diving here!

My husband and I decided to do our 2 star & 3 star diving certification at Captain Slate's Scuba Adventures. We dove 2 to 3 times/day for 6 days. We had a wonderful experience with this diving centre. Our diving instructor Russell Dawson, known as "Skipp" is an amazing human being with an impressive diving experience but also remarkable teaching... More

This place is sheer amazingness. Took my wife snorkeling for her first time in crystal clear water. The captain took us to two different areas on the reef and we saw a ton of different marine wildlife including 2 sea turtles (which are apparently fairly rare for the area.) The captain is the type of man to make lasting customers/friends... More

SAVE YOUR MONEY! What a joke, we booked the "Creature Feature" based on the web site video depicting diving with nurse sharks, eels, grouper and barracuda that the Captain would feed. We were very excited (my wife and 2 sons who had recently passed their open water certifications) to see the "Creature Feature". Problems started before we got in the... More

We set up 2 days of diving with them last month, overall great experience. Had the chance to see them operate on a weekend (2 boats X 23 divers per boat) and then weekday (1 boat X 6 divers). They did a good job with site selection and overall operations. I'm not a huge fan of fish-baiting so the Sunday... More

We took the boys to get them dive certified and it was a great experience. They were so good with my son who had a hard time clearing/equalizing. They worked hard to get him down and succeeded! Be aware they are not highly organized or very worried about time. So if that's what your looking for this is not your... More

Had plan a family trip weeks in advance to go out in the glass bottom boat. Called the place on 2 different times to speak with them during booking and after booking trip to see about times a few days before the trip called to see if we could move the time up that said that the 12:30pm was the... We are very sorry you were not interested in upgrading to snorkeling with us when you came to check in for the Glass Bottom boat. Unfortunately, equipment does break every so often so the boat was unavailable when you had planned to go out. Ultimately, we try to make everyone's trip to the Keys a fun experience and we are...
