We went in expecting a standard aquarium and found a hidden gem. Make sure you catch a feeding show in the main tank. Lots of interesting information and our show host answered lots of questions from the kids. Don't miss feeding the small sharks!

We visited the aquarium with our grandsons and had a great time. One of the best things is that it's small and has a real family flavor. The exhibits are well maintained, the staff helpful and friendly. Our grandsons had a blast feeding the sharks and stingrays, while we had fun watching. Our bonus for the day was petting the... This small aquarium is staffed by many knowledgeable and helpful people who care about the animals. The demonstrations and shows are entertaining and educational. Your admission fee allows you to leave and enter again on the same day. Very good place for families. The shark feeding show is a highlight.

Our grandkids from Iowa were visiting and we took them here. What a great decision and a wonderful place for kids (ours were 6, 8 and 10). Kids got to "pet" a snake, feed shrimp to baby sharks, touch a sting ray, and listen to docents tell all about the fish and reptiles. An absolutely perfect place...not too small, not... More

We visited this place and it was really good to be a small aquarium. The staff was super nice and very helpful. We got to touch baby sting rays ,turtles, fish and were able to feed some baby nurse sharks. We watched one of the divers feed the fish and sharks and the fella telling the history of the aquarium and... More

Visited Konger Tarpon Springs Aquarium with my 16 year old son the other day and was pleasantly surprised. Though small, the facility is well maintained and the animals seem well cared for. Spent a couple of hours watching the feeding and exhibit shows, then were able to wander about, spending a lot of time at the stingray pool as well... More

We visited and spent a couple of hours here, the children ( 5 & 8) got to feed sharks, stroke stingrays, pet alligators, watch the fish being fed, watch the diver feed the large sharks and found out lots about the animals that were there. Some of the staff were a bit rude/overbearing - one woman in particular.

It's very small, and the entire tour can be done in about 5 minutes. Not really worth the price of admission, in my opinion. Not terribly clean, either, but the staff was fairly friendly.

Some times bigger is NOT better. And The Konger Tarpon Springs Aquarium proves it. We love aquariums and we've been to the best; The Georgia Aquarium, Monterey Bay, The Dubai Mall Aquarium, Miami, Sea World, Disney and a few more. But if you want something small and special, especially with kids in tow, come to Tarpon Springs. Among the very... More

The touch tanks are so awesome!! Feeding the sting rays and nurse sharks was something my family will never forget. Oscar, the grouper, and getting his mouth cleaned was SO unique.
