Small beach with benches right on the water. We live close by and it is our Sunset watching beach. Love watching the wind surfers on windy days. This is a City beach so the parking lot fills up on the weekend.

We visited in the late afternoon, our children aged 5 & 8 had a fantastic time. They paddled in the sea, dug and built sandcastles, made new friends, aught and released dozens of crabs. It was not busy, was clean and a wonderful beach to visit.

Small beach, but not usually over run with tourists. A good old Florida beach, with some rocks and sea weed to deal with. Has clean restrooms and a nice pavilion.

We've been here several times and it's always been great. if you like hermit crabs, they are everywhere! You see their little burrow holes on the beach, and you can't help but see them in the shallow water. I always see kids chasing and catching them (but always release please). Oh, by the way, the sunset is awesome. It is... More

Small beach, I don't consider very clean. We have tried to go there twice, but the smell has pushed us away both times. Definitely prefer Fred Howard State Park.

This beach is a favorite of the locals. There are rocks so wear beach shoes. You can walk out far into the gulf without it getting deep the sand is nice and there are a lot of pavilions with grills. There is a changing house and always a vendor with treats. You can launch a small boat there as well.... More

It was raining, but we drove here to check it out. The beach is very small and at the end of a neighborhood. It has a picnic pavilion and grills, so you can cook out. If it had not been raining ,I would like it. I think it would be better for adults, with Fred Howard Park, being the best... More

Made a mistake and thought I was reviewing Sunset Beach but put writeup under Howard Beach. See comments there. Loved this place.
