At the end of Gulf Road in Tarpon Springs, we would have never found Sunset Beach without the GPS. In Tarpon Springs there is a small peninsula that is not well known. For us, it is the place to take a picnic supper and watch the sunset. Family members have lived in Tarpon Springs for several years, but had not been to Sunset Beach until I told them about it through TA. Little known municipal beach, about a mile south of Howard Park, off of Florida Ave. It is the best spot to watch the sunset (hence It's name), and to fish, picnic, or launch your small boat.
