We only just discovered this beach this March and have to say it quickly became our favorite. We are a family of 5 with 3 kids who love nature, the shallow clear water had a wonderful sandy bottom and was full of things for the kids to find. On our first stay we found little hermit crabs everywhere and the... More

A small beach that has improved the facilities and parking area in the last couple years. The view is great and the water accessible. The parking area is small, but only so much space is available.

Wonderful park in the day. Very comfortable with even a Library Box to borrow a book or take one and donate one. Read one on the beach. Fishing was easy. At night on the 1st Thursday of every month they have a Jazz concert and the one in March was great. Unexpectedly it was the Tarpon Springs High School Jazz... More

Nice secluded little park with plenty of areas to fish , swim and play. Come watch the kite boarders scoot around in the surf.

But we have family in from up north we grab them at about 15 minutes before sunset and watch the sunset here every day that they are visiting. It is so beautiful, you did not want to miss it! We have also been to several of... More

This local beach is very intimate and once I discovered it, I fell in love. It was hard to tear myself away after the sunset each night. Enjoy!

We LOVE this small beach area with stunning sunset views!! It is a nightly ritual for us to grab a blanket or chair (sometimes cheese n crackers!) and experience a beautiful flaming sky at sundown. If the weather is right, we get the added delight of seeing colorful kite boarders whipping through the air! Check out the event schedules for... More

Quiet beach - no touristy attractions - very serene. Concerts once a month on Thursday nights. Howard Park nearby

Sunset Beach is the Tarpon Springs city beach and it is a smaller, less refined version of Howard Park. The boat ramp there is very shallow so at low tide you are way out into the gulf. The beach, water, and views here are very good. What makes this place great are the Sunset Beach concerts, great local bands, amazing... More
