We went to Tarpon Springs for the St. Nicholas Boat ride, but when we got there they said that they were not going to out that day and maybe not the next day. They said September was their slow month so they might or might not go out.

This is a not to the nest great experience and for just $8 dollars you simply have to do it. Here's what you get for your eight bucks; Number 1 you get a nice little boat trip; number 2 you get to see the hardhat diver actually dive for sponges; number 3 you can get signed autograph from the diver;... We did not plan on going on this boat but are both so glad we did. It was very informative, although it was difficult to hear/understand the narrator. Other than that, it was just a great time. I would even go again. And the price is a bargain!!!! What a hard life these diver's choose.

There are a lot of boat ride options for the docks, but this one is unique. First the boats themselves are on the National Register of Historic Places. Second it it the only one that has a sponge diving exhibition. It's only 8 bucks and well worth it

They go a little ways down the channel, throw the diver overboard, bring him back in, and go back to the dock, telling a few jokes along the way. Was interesting to see diver and his gear. Others may enjoy the experience, but I thought it was kinda lame. Harmless and cheap and mildly entertaining, but lame.

Our monthly Florida outing took us last week to Tarpon Springs. Since we had read the reviews on tripadvisor about this boat-trip, we were eager to take in that excursion. It was around 11:30AM when the boat finally left the dock. The gentleman on the microphone kept us entertained and told us a lot about the history of the Greek... More

We took this boat trip and could not have been happier! The crew was nice, the guide was funny and informative. The diver was accomodating with pictures. The trip was only 40 mins or so which is perfect when you don't have a lot of time to spend. It was also about the perfect lenght for my son. The diver... More

Called a week ahead of time. Was told the first boat of the day goes out around 11am - didn't need a reservation. Was there on a Monday around 10:30am (it took 45 minutes to get there from where we were staying). There was a very faded sign in front of a table where a man was selling tickets. When... More

No frills but very enjoyable. Inexpensive, educational, and entertaining. Bring cash for tipping the diver, captain, and crew. Twelve year old daughter enjoyed it, as well.

Very reasonable price and very interesting tour but very difficult for anyone with a handicap. Had to leave wheel chair unattended by the rock and try to help my husband up very steep steps. Not much assistance available. Very difficult to get him back down with no assistance offered. It is a shame but very little in Tarpon Springs is... More
