Very reasonable price and very interesting tour but very difficult for anyone with a handicap. Had to leave wheel chair unattended by the rock and try to help my husband up very steep steps. Not much assistance available. Very difficult to get him back down with no assistance offered. It is a shame but very little in Tarpon Springs is... More

We trusted the other reviews for this boat line, and were not disappointed. It kept the kids attention, while not being too long where they would get bored. Good price and good value. Would highly recommend.

We had been on another tour boat and didnt have the best experience, so the next time we were in the sponge docks we took this little 20 minute tour..it was on an old style sponge boat, and they had the real diver on board to show everyone how it was done. It was a slow boat with a narrator,... More

We have been going to Tarpon Springs for years, and finally took the St.Nicholas Boat Line. It was a lot of fun, The diver wears a deep sea diving suit and will answer your questions, and pose for pictures with you. The trip is narrated by an older retired diver, who is very knowledable. We went out on a nice day to about... More

We went on the 1/2 tour and really enjoyed it. Frank, the sponge diver, was so nice. He was willing to have pictures taken with him and to answer questions. The pilot of the boat was a wealth of information, telling us all about the history of sponge collection, explaining the diver's suit and how much weight the diver carried. He... More

Just a working fishing port, with a nice tourist area adjacent it with many excellent Greek restaurants and souvenir shops. It is a must stop in Tarpon Springs

While visiting Tarpon Springs, we decided to take the St Nicholas Boat Line tour. We thought the price, $8/person, was quite reasonable. We were fortunate enough to be on the first tour of the day, so we were able to watch the diver suit up. He uses the kind of equipment that was used back in the 1830's or so... More

best deal ever for $8...Friendly, short, and educational. This is a 30 minute cruise you will learn about the area, boating, and sponges. Frank actually wears an old style dive suit with an air hose for him to breath. He goes underwater and finds a sponge for everyone to see and feel. The crew encourages pictures...

Be sure to take the first trip of the day and you can see the diver get into his gear. He stays dressed for the rest of the day. The diver and crew were very friendly and knowledgable. It is a short trip but interesting.
