One of the three people in our party called to make reservations for the 2 hour Sightseeing and Dolphin Cruise. For $3 more each, we could have disembarked to "get our feet wet and to explore the island to collect shells and swimming, but the winds were too strong that day; no one was allowed off the boat. They had... More

Allow me to set the scene for you. You are innocently walking the streets of this tourist town when you are hastled by not one, but about five former Ohio residents who now work for this outfit. They clearly work on commission b/c they are vehement in their insistence to get you to a.)ride their boat b.)buy crap in their... More

We had company in town, so decided to take this boat ride out to Anclote for the sunset cruise only. It was chilly and they provided blankets. Drinks are sold on the boat. We had plenty of time to walk on shore and found some really pretty shells. For the price, if you want to take a boat ride, it... More

There was a video before the trip that explained the history of the sponge docks and how the sponges are processed. The trip out to Anclote Island was smooth. The Captain was informative and personable. The area of debarkation was on the east side of the island which was very calm and easy to walk on. People with disabilities or... More

They overbooked the boat ride so they kicked us off the boat! The manager only offered us a rain check not a refund! When we asked for a refund we were given an attitude.

Very close to being a scam. Terrible personel. Rude. Given misinformation. Onboard bathroom smelled like a rotting carcass. Not worth it.

It was truely a double-edged sword going to this place. We had a group of 14 family members ranging in age from 85 to 3. We were trying to take the boat excursion to Anclote Key. We were greeted by the ticket taker who responded to our request to allow the 3 different families to purchase tickets separately with "It's... More

The day we went there was a small group of kids (22) that booked on the first tour of the day. Now despite their energy and enthusiam, the staff was great. Captains Mike and Mike made sure these kids had fun and learned something along the way. It was nice to walk on the beach, but awesome to see 3... More

This was a family outing with eleven people. we paid over 200 dollars so in my opinion it is a little pricey for what you get. Before you head out to this trip just know that the times given for boarding the boat is just an approximation. We were told 230 but the boat actually came around 3. It does... More

We saw no less than 8 dolphins on this trip! EIGHT!!!! The dockside staff needs some courses on customer service, but the boat staff was amazing! They did their best to get everyone a view of the dolphins! You cruise around the gulf in search of the mammals, then head to his beautiful little island to collect shells! Well worth... More
