Open Water Certification Went Swimmingly

Got open water certified via Mustafa, one of the instructors, and had a great experience. Very personable, very easy to work with, and very encouraging.

Every snorkeling mask I've ever used presses on the bone between my eyes causing pain, which limits the amount of time I can snorkel. Joyce knew exactly what the problem was (high nose bridge) and worked with me to find a mask that properly fit my face. She was excellent! Now, I'm looking forward to snorkeling in Hawaii next month.

We were lucky to be alive after this dive trip. The staff was clueless, $600 for a trip to the middle of nowhere, to see nothing. The boat was blowing black smoke, the dive instructor was vomiting the whole ride out and back..... it was all around the worst dive boat trip I have ever been on, and I've been... More

My husband & I just finished our open water certification with Narcosis. I shopped a couple of places and when I stopped into Narcosis, I met Joe- and knew this was the place! Then we met Captain Joyce- she runs a first class operation... and talk about fun:) Joe was extremely knowledgable, friendly, went at our pace, and made us... More

My wife went in to this scuba shop to rent some gear and while the line staff were very positive and great, the owner came out, stopped them from helping her, sent them back to stocking the store while she proceeded to talk on the phone with her husband and make my wife wait! Absolutely unprofessional in her attitude and... More

Nice shop, friendly staff, nice boat and captain. If you are in the area and are looking for either a pleasure dive or spear fishing charter this is the place to stop. If you happen to go to Veterans Reef be on the lookout for the GIANT goliath grouper. They are as big as a small car and there are... More

I had booked a trip to go out on the Gulf of Mexico but there were not enough diverse to make it worth taking the boat out so my trip was canceled. I asked if there was any staff member willing to take me diving in the area and they got back to me immediately. A gentleman named Mustafa drove... More

I had a great experience with the boat crew but did not find the same in the office. Narcosis Scuba’s boat appears to be a fishing boat that was modified for scuba and 9 people make the boat a bit cramped but the DMs and boat Captain are very helpful and professional. They carry the equipment and offer guidance for... More

We live in Minneapolis where we completed the first half of our scuba certification and wanted to do the second half (ooen water dives) while we were on vacation in Florida. We found this place on line. It was in the area we wanted to stay at for the first leg of our trip. The pricing was competitive, the dive... More
