The Arena is in a great location. The downtown area is quiet and nice. The Arena was nice. The staff was super friendly even though we were visiting to see the Florida Panthers play the Tampa Bay Lightning. The fans were very into there team they were loud the way it should be!!! We hade a great time here.

Caught a hockey game here this March with the Canadiens...there were more Hab fans than bolt fans. The nice thing here is that they let you be a rink side down low when the the teams are warming up regardless of where your seats are located. The ushers are friendly, nice and helpful in making this happen. As a Canadian... More

I have seen a few NHL hockey games in this arena. The screen above center ice is the largest i have ever seen. It goes from blue line to blue line. All the games i have been to have been packed and the energy is amazing. They also honor a Vet during the game and pass a large american flag... More

I call it a hockey show instead of a game because you really get more that just a hockey game here. The pregame, intermission, and "TV commercial timeouts" all had something going on to keep you entertained. Before the game, they have live music playing right outside the doors. The pregame featured a very well done video presentation on the... More

The Amalie is very accessible; lots of parking close by ($20). We watched the Tampa Bay Lightning versus the Boston Bruins last nite. They do a great job of getting the crowd involved and it makes the game lots of fun to watch. It is noisy and they are very pro the home team. The big screen makes it easy... More

This is a great arena to watch a hockey game. There is plenty of parking and it is easy access both on and off the highway. About the only negative is that there are not many choices for food and drink in the immediate area. Ticket prices for the game are very reasonable, but beer prices are some of the... More

We visited Tampa to see the Jets play the Lightning on March 14. This arena is pretty impressive. The scoreboard is huge and I really liked the Tesla coil bit. I loved the choices for food at the concessions. They had seafood, gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches and not just your typical burger and hotdogs! The beer was expensive (typical for... More

My wife and I have recently got back to England from travelling around Florida and were lucky to catch the Lightning against the Maple Leafs. This was a huge highlight of our holiday! The whole experience was amazing and cannot wait to catch an NHL game when I'm in the states again. You guys really know how to put on... More
