I was staying at the Tampa Waterside Marriot which is across the street from the home of the Tampa Bay Lighting the Amalie Arena. The Lighting was in town on Tuesday night so we walked over to the arena and purchased tickets. The place was jumping with excited TB fans. Made you get right into the action. The arena is... More

Last week I attended the Boston Pops at the Arena. Surprisingly, the acoustics were all they should be and the conductor even commented on the ambiance of the Arena where only one fourth of the seats were used. Also attended the circus here a few years ago and thought the arena was not as good for the show. The arena... More

On a one event night, you can find good parking and get in and out without too much trouble. Yet if there is more than one event happening one the same day - like the TSO Christmas Concerts - its a disaster! Nice facility, good food options, and nice bathroom facilities this is a good place to catch a concert,... More

Great not only for Hockey Games but for concerts and circus. The Chase Club Level is amazing for food and drinks during the hockey game...yes, tickets are much more pricey - but a great date occasionally!

I have been to several Lightning games and a couple of concerts and both had wonderful service from staff. From where to go, to thanking me for coming. Food is everywhere and clean bathrooms.

Great set up, Great sound and light show! Great seats! Rest rooms were clean, nice area of town. The police directing traffic were very courteous and helpful. No problem leaving after the concert or finding our way back to our hotel. Great evening and experience, Tampa was fun! We had VIP seats and I have to say the VIP room... More

Great set up, Great sound and light show! Great seats! Rest rooms were clean, nice area of town, there was some construction which made us a little tense arriving to park in the prepaid parking garage. The police directing traffic were very courteous and helpful. We made it in time, should have left 15 minutes sooner then we had. No... More

I am a Canadian hockey fan and boy did I ever love the energy at this arena. The Lightning have great fans that are knowledgeable and friendly and they certainly know how to be 'The Thunder'! The plaza was hopping and I thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor bar and music....plus I had my first Philly Cheesesteak and it was awesome. The... More

Went to The Amalie Arena for a hockey game. Watched the Columbus Blue Jackets get their bell rung. We sat in traffic for about 1.5 hours because there was a festival going on in Downtown Tampa, Gasparilla. Is was pretty neat to see all of the people walking around dressed like pirates.
