This is my second time visiting Lettuce Lake and it was beautiful as usual. The water level was distressingly low but it didn't stop us from seeing alligators, many many birds, lizards, turtles, fish, butterflies, etc. I was disappointed the tower was closed for repairs "indefinitely".

This is one of our favorite places to share with out of town guests, particularly if they live in the northern states. Going to the park is a taste of what Florida was in the past, before the condos and the theme parks. Nature is the theme here; there are boardwalks for strolling and many benches for sitting and watching... More

This park was two lights away from our hotel. We drove by it and decided to check it out. It was a $2 car fee. Great family park with a variety of plant life and animals. It has a boardwalk built around the lake. This is all the amenities: Barbeque Grills, Bird Watching, Boardwalk, Canoe / Kayak - Launch, Canoe... More

Beautiful park. If you look closely, you will likely see several alligators and birds, as well as other wildlife. Very serene.

Beautiful, swampy Florida -- a gorgeous natural setting complete with alligators, wading birds, and a spectacular boardwalk.

Beautiful place to see lots of Florida wildlife. We kayaked and saw MANY alligators, birds, fish, and turtles. Bring your camera, you will not be disappointed. When we walked along the bridges, we did not see the alligators like we did when we were kayaking (we did see a baby alligator and small snake). The park rangers are very helpful... More

What a beautiful park this is. Lots of things to see from gators, birds, plants and more. Oh and a snake too. YIKES. Great place to relax and have a picnic or gathering. You can also Canoe or Kayak or ride your bike. They have paved paths, shell paths and a wonderful boardwalk. The tower was under repair so we... More

This is a very special park. Walked every inch of the boarwalk stopping several times to see all sorts of birds. Also saw a small, maybe 8 foot, gator! I was told he is a baby but I'm from New York so he seemed big. Tons of photo ops here. I usually scope out a park first for my wife... More
