Lettuce Lake Park was recommended to us while on a trip last week to the Tampa area. Daily admission price is only $2 and there are lots of things to do in the park. We strolled the boardwalks listening to the birds and bullfrogs. We saw 2 gators, 2 snakes, and lots of different birds. This is a very enjoyable... More

This place is a diamond in the ruff. We took our dogs and hiked and the tranquility was awesome. You could rent a canoe. Next time.

My family and I set out for a small day trip to one of Florida’s many nature parks. Being that we live near route 19 on the gulf coast, there are many to choose from. However, seeing that Lettuce Lake Park was rated so highly with a practical gator sighting guarantee, we decided to check it out. We arrived mid-morning... More

We went in on a week day - around 10:30 AM in the morning. Its just $2 per car to enter the park - we parked our car and walked the boardwalks. All of us - my wife, my 3.5 year old and I loved the place - it felt so disconnected from the hustle and bustle of the city.... More

Beautiful pathed walkways through natural preserved area, nature without ruffing it! The Ranger station has a wealth of information.

Never have I seen such huge cypress trees! Their beauty alone in this park was outstanding. But the entire park is nothing but nature-filled. For nature lovers, bird-watchers, peace seekers....this is the spot. Well worth the $2 entrance fee.

We went here for a hike and had a great time. Miles of hiking on safe trails. We saw lots of wildlife, but sadly no gators, which is probably a good thing!

The $2 fee was well whorth the beautiful views. There are even shelters one can rent. I wish they had a little more for my toddler to do/ play on but its beautiful never the less.
