As the entrance fee is only 2 dollars per vehicle it is a good place to visit if you like nature. We saw a few alligators and squirrels, the park is clean and really enjoyable. Spent there about 1-2 hours to walk through all the paths. Definitely a place to visit for budget travellers who like nature.

Amazing park! I have been coming here for years. There is something here for everyone, especially if you're a nature lover. The park has a really nice boardwalk (3500 ft) with an observation tower right on the Hillsborough River. See lots of wildlife, especially gators. Great park for a family picnic. Picnic tables, shelters, barbecue grills, walking trails, playground for... More

Very nice 3500 feet or more of elevated boardwalk. Saw lots of turtles, fish, birds, some medium size gators and a few baby gators. Great for $2 a car!

Explored Lettuce Lake Park for the first time this past weekend. If you want a break from the Florida heat, this is the place. Broadwalk along the river and marshy setting if the lake is nicely shaded and provides a pleasant afternoon stroll

What to do on a rainy afternoon? Visit Lettuce Lake Park. Because of the rain it felt like we were the only two persons there. We saw a lot of nice birds. If you keep your eyes peeled, you can even see aligators and owls, so take a camera with you. Lettuce Lake Park is a nice little gem in... More

Very beautiful and well kept park. The paths are the perfect length and the views are breathtaking. I loved the tower that overlooks the river. Most of the path is over the water which is amazing. I absolutely loved it and would recommend it to any nature lover. Plus only $2 dollars to get in. This is a place to... More
