Boardwalk is great place to walk and enjoy Florida scenery. The birds are active in the morning, the quiet is accented with the bird songs. We even saw a baby alligator sunning nearby. Some of the walk is shaded so it does not get too hot.

Boardwalk is always good for seeing gators, snakes, turtles, & other wildlife. Well worth the $2 per car entrance fee.

I have been to this park numerous times, visiting in different seasons......always something different to see......sometimes the birds are out in numbers, other times I have seen many turtles sunning themselves......occasional baby alligator.....always a treat......very peaceful, nice trails and elevated boardwalk.

I happened on this park by accident as I was in town on business. With just a few hours of free time I really enjoyed this park. If I had more time I would have rented a kayak, but I had plenty of entertainment just walking the long boardwalks next to the river and over the swamps. A large, non-poisonous... More

Morning hikes are always the best for me and Lettuce Leaf Park is no exception. Walking the boardwalk, viewing the creatures who make their appearance, and enjoying the air are ideal at this location. The walkway meanders around the park while keeping one 'above' the waters and habitat. Take your time and stop along the way because the wildlife is... More

This is an excellent place for - individuals (or groups) who wish to exercise in the fresh air - families who like to have a nature outing with their children - friends who need a place to meet and picnic The park is well... Lettuce Lake Park was recommended to us while on a trip last week to the Tampa area. Daily admission price is only $2 and there are lots of things to do in the park. We strolled the boardwalks listening to the birds and bullfrogs. We saw 2 gators, 2 snakes, and lots of different birds. This is a very enjoyable... More

This place is a diamond in the ruff. We took our dogs and hiked and the tranquility was awesome. You could rent a canoe. Next time.
