Hyde park is neat. So is Gandy bridge area. Go to harbor island and channel side. Take the trolley and see Ybor city before 9pm. The place gets crazy!

Very diverse part of town, with Tampa Bay, Bayshore Dr (with million dollar homes), great variety of restaurants from the upscale Bern's Steakhouse, to the Green Lemon Mexican restaurant and every type of food, drink, bar and shopping. Very nice place to hang out.

Went with a bunch of HS buddies. Found this area to have everything we needed. Great bars on S. Howard, shopping in Hyde Park, walking along Bayshore Blvd.....I think I might move there!

I love the SOHO area, and the South Tampa area in general. Close to Bayshore Boulevard for walking, running, skating, bicycling, exercising - fabulous restaurants everywhere you look, and some great nightlife too - something for everyone and every taste

We are lucky to live here and play here. Winding through the side streets you will find several places to stop and check out. Drive down Bayshore Blvd, check out Davis and Harbor Island, Westshore Blvd, S. MacDill Avenue, Hyde Park (Kate jackson Park) and Bay to Bay Blvd. These areas have the best stops in town. You can reference... More

South of Howard, there is Bayshore Blvd with great water views and interesting houses all which lead to a Taste of Boston by the pier with great food and view in a very casual setting. If shopping and resturants are your thing head to Hyde Park and get both in Tampa's small version of St. Armand's Circle or just travel... More

South Tampa has the best of everything! It is like a small town where you can easily get around and usually run into someone you know. Yet, it is a couple of minutes away from the big city of Tampa with all it has to offer in jobs and entertainment. Additionally, you are in the heart of the huge metropolis... More

Lots of places to eat, very nice houses, close to everything, and best schools in Florida is why we live here. Stay away if you are loud and boisterous, but if you are friendly (and don't drink and drive because kids play in the streets), you'll find its a great place to stroll and have quiet contemplation since there are... Over the last several years., South Tampa has really become THE Tampa hot spot. It is a prestigeous part of Tampa, with the scenic Bayshore Blvd. as the backdrop. Downtown Tampa is like anyother "downtown"...most places close by dark & there's a lot of one-way streets, LOL. JACKSON'S is a fun place to go, on Harbour Island. But HOWARD AVENUE... More
