I went there for a birthday party, and it was the best place ever!!! The horses are friendly and the people are nice. They had baby guinea pigs, and my child couldn't stop holding them!!! If you love animals, go there!!!

We visited for the Fall Festival so a lot was going on. I am sure we missed things because of lack of signage but we managed to just wonder around. I think all of the animals had signs explaining what they were and where they where from, etc. Plenty of staff/volunteers that were friendly and helpful. They were always cleaning... More

There are 3 essential components for a good trail ride. Horsepower for kids had all 3. 1. The horses. Well-cared for on the grounds of a large animal rescue/petting zoo. Appropriate for each rider. 2. The trail guide. She was conversational but not intrusive. She offered nice local info (we were visiting) and answered all of our questions. Helped my... More

I live in the Tampa area and I have an 18 month old. I'm always on the look out for awesome experiences to share with my son during the week especially since we are planning on homeschooling. This exceeded all of my expectations. It was beautiful, clean, fun, kind and I can say that not only about the animals but... More

I understand what they are trying to do here, and I appreciate it. It makes me feel like the scrouge by writing an honest review. By all means go, support this great organization. But, do not expect Disney, LEGOLAND, or even an old dilapidated Florida attraction, expect more of a cross between a thirdworld zoo and a dirt road.... The... More

A large group of college students visited Horse Power as part of a club social. We had an even more amazing time than anyone expected. The horses are excellently trained and the riding paths are beautiful and surprisingly scenic for the area. The guides also allow you to trot which is hard to find at most barns. But perhaps the... They even have summer camps that the kids would totally love. This place is also a blessing for different organizations that... More
