There are several locations for a good meal in the village with favorites being the Wine Exchange and Bar Taco. A few more options are planned with a new expansion that is in progress. The shopping is limited however does include some unique shops along with known favorites. Pottery Barn/Kids, Sur la Table and west elm have reasonable size stores.... More

Hyde park was very interesting, We had never been their before, the people seemed very nice, the restaurants had good food, it has a cinema and looked like a great place to meet new people.

Quaint small well kept homes with sidewalks and manicured yards. There is a small walkable downtown area with restaurants and shopping. The draw back is the number of shops and restaurants, there just are not enough. Free parking and safe area. It is worth having lunch there.

Other than some bothersome construction right now (August 2015) Hyde Park Village has been a pleasure the three times I've been this month. My favorite restaurant, Piquant, is here. As are some of my old favorites for shopping like Anthropology and West Elm. There are new favorites in my shopping bucket also with the creative and very unique locally owned... More

This quaint city shopping center has significantly improved over the last 5 years. In addition to the free garage parking additional free on-street parking is now avaliable. Renovations to several buildings have allowed new restaurants to open with both indoor and outdoor patio seating. Mixture of independent boutiques and national chains like Pottery Barn, Anthropologie and Sur La Table. Great... More

We had our Tampa hotel shuttle bring us and then we walked back. Nice stores and a few restaurants. Nice older homes just walking the neighboring streets. More stores will bring my rating up. Still nice stop when you are in Tampa.

The stores that are there are nice : Pottery Barn, West Elm,.... Yet there are not a lot of them. There is free parking in a ramp. Hope to be back when there are more shops.

To park, there is a free parking garage (that was nice!). The area was very pretty, nice pretty fountain and scenery. As far as shopping, there wasn't anything interesting. I actually walked by every single store, and only went inside one--and it was a little boutique, and didn't see anything I even wanted in there. The Aveda Hair is Located... More

This is a nice shopping area of about 2 blocks. Some chain stores and some specialty shops with a main street feel. Took us about 2 hours to get through, visiting most shops.

We brought the bikes down & spent the day riding along the waterfront, then winding our way back through the lovely historic neighborhood then had lunch & did some shopping at Hyde Park Village. There was a Halloween thing going on for the kids that evening with a band and booths etc... so it was quite crowded late in the... More
