Nice Park in the Middle of the City

Al Lopez is right around the corner from Raymond James Stadium. It has a great walking trail around the lake and runs for both large and small dogs.

Very spacious park, full of trees, some little ponds, ideal for families, restrooms. There are some open shelters to rent for parties.

In a city / area with so much to do outside (amusement parks, zoo, beaches, etc.) Al Lopez park ranks high. The park is just to the north of Raymond James Stadium (where the Tampa Bay Buccaneers play) and easy to get to. The park has a number of trails/jogging paths that you can walk/meander along and enjoy being outside.... More

I was pleasantly surprised by all the activities that this park had to offer. From exercise trails to actual work out equipment. They had a very nice sized play ground as well as convenient bathrooms to it. The only real draw back is that the shelters seem to book up early and you can't make online reservations. You have to... I came to this park with my two kids and my small puppy. There was a small dog park for the small breeds that was great. There were a few playgrounds for the kids to play. There is a large trail where you can walk job ride your bike or skate. This park is flooded with trees and is a... More

I use to ride a motorbike here 40 years ago. Many birthday celebrations on this property with our large family. Also a few church picnics. Parked here to go the Bucs' games their first four seasons. Then for Bandits and Rowdies games. We have seen this park transformed by grounds keepers a number of times. Put together a party for... More

An awesome dog park, one for big dogs and one separately for small dogs with water spouts and exercise tools. The trail is a great walk where you can see the lake or just trees everywhere. There are exercise spots in different areas of the park. Even my teens loved the children's playground with so much to do and get... More

Security is a JOKE !!! Parked my NEW truck @ Al Lopez Park for the Season Opener of the Bucs. Even though I was parked near the entrance and the security check point. I returned to find my roof caved in from someone climbing up and jumping on it. $6000.00 worth of damage. I will NEVER go to this park... More
