This is where I go to ride in Tampa. Two options here, ride the dedicated bike lanes or ride the walkway. For speed the bike lanes are the best. They run with the traffic, and on the south lane are almost totally uninterrupted. During the midday the sidewalks are uncrowded, and one of the safest bike routes in Tampa. Both... More

Too congested but traffic does move along at about 40-48MPH. Perhaps the stop lights could be synched?

As a Tampa resident, I walk along Bayshore Drive almost everyday. In the early morning, the sunrises can be spectacular. Even in the summer, there are usually refreshing breezes off the water.

Bayshore is one of my favorite things about Tampa. With beautiful views of the water and downtown, it's the perfect place to enjoy being outside, run, ride bikes, or just walk. I've spent much time on Bayshore and am always surprised by its beauty. Don't miss this beautiful part of Tampa!

My gf and I wanted a nice coastal run to wake up to and this was the perfect spot. You have a nice clear and flat jogging path that is populated with runners, rollerbladers, and bike riders. Great views over the bay and you can see the fish jumping out of the water. Start at the pier on the south... More

Whether you're looking to catch a glimpse of a real pirate ship, or just get a little exercise in with the locals, sunrises and sunsets here are simply stunning. A wonderful place to work off a few extra calories from some divine dinners you'll have in the Soho/ Hyde park area.

Visited the Tampa bay on work/play trip. The bayshore boulevard is astonishing. There was great weather so we enjoyed the walk. Very friendly and safe even at late night hours. Anyone visiting Tampa should take time for a stroll down the boulevard.

Face it. Tampa just isn't the prettiest city around. But this a special street with a special stature. it convers the wealth of Tampa as a commercial city, and to some extent its southern. It has incursions of high rises, and a few townhouses...but it shows some of the city's grandest homes, set right across the from the Bay. The... More
