Center is clean, well maintained, easily accessible by several major routes. Ample parking nearby. Easy walking distance from downtown hotels [near the Straz Center/I-275 area]

Attended a meeting in Tampa at the Convention Center and stayed at the Marriott next door. Nice size facility that was easy to navigate and offered lots of seating options and outdoor space to relax in between sessions. Food was average but I liked the facility and location.

I've been here several times for trade shows. It's located right next to the water & the views are amazing! Park between the convention center & the Tampa Bay Times forum for cheaper garage parking.

First time to convention at this venue. Was very impressed with this structure. New, clean, great location. Great access to hotels, water taxis, trolley stop. Marina close enough you could arrive by boat and walk over.

Just recently went here for Comic Con. Just like Anime Expo in Los Angeles, it started with a long line in the hot sun to get in. My husband and I went in later to find security simply lets you in without double checking anything. Although the staff seemed a bit lax and sometimes unaware of how their system worked,... More

Visited here for 3 days during 2014 Comic Con. As far as organization goes, it was quite lacking. On opening day, the line for ticket purchase was extremely long, and there was no shade for convention goers to stand in. Opening and closing, as well as event times were wrong all weekend, and some of the staff was pretty rude.... More

The people who run the convention center are comparable to dictators. I've been going to the Con for 8 years and the convention center staff are getting more and more overbearing. I was there to have fun. I understand there are a lot of people who ruin things for everyone, but I don't need someone watching and micromanaging everything I... More

I was at the convention center for the AAG Conference and we took up a large portion of the convention center, but this place is so large that there was a lot more room. The availability of food, spaces to sit, network and do some work were also everywhere. I would say that they could probably add a few more... More

Sure it has some great photo spots and easy navigation, however, the owners of this convention center is not convention friendly. I understand you want to sell your food, but searching bags for outside food is ridiculous and harmful for people who have low blood sugar. Especially then getting them kicked out if they had food on them. I was... More

Was there a few days for business had an issue with the AC complained ( multiple times, participants sweating) and after two days it got better, asked for some extra tables to be set up in my room and it never happened. When I took matters into my own hands and moved some table from lobby area management got lippy... More
