Attended the three day SOFIC conference. The event is very large and easily accommodates thousands of people. The main floor is expansive and there are numerous other conference and breakout rooms. The food is lackluster at best, do yourself a favor and leave the venue and cross one of the two bridges for FAR better food options. The air conditioning... More

Well thought out. Area opportunities are great. The outside views are great during breaks. The box lunch was dry but the hot dinner another day was really good (by comparison to other conference centers). It was odd to get my plate at least 10 minutes before anyone of the other persons at my table. The rooms were well controlled for... More

Great place to hold a business conference. The Convention Center is really large with a lot of space to accommodate big groups. Lunches served were mediocre and they didn't have enough for everyone attending... Coffee ran out frequently on breaks and didn't get refilled quickly enough to accommodate all the guests.

Pretty nice convention center in a pleasant location. Several decent hotels in proximity and on the water. Food service at a banquet lunch left a lot to be desired. Half of our table was served 20 minutes before the other half - even tough several people at the table got up and asked to be served. The food was decent... More

This is the BEST convention center for view. SO many water view seats. This is the WORSE food. Go to the publix across the bridge to get anything.

I went to a college fair here with my daughter. The convention center was very clean and it was organized very well. The bathrooms are very clean. The views from the windows are beautiful. There is a small bistro to get a cup of coffee or small snack.

I've worked both sides of the "aisle" at the Convention Center...and it's a great fit for exhibitors and visitors alike. Whether it's an auto show, home show, or any big event, the crew here knows how to get you in and out. Conveniently located, The Convention Center has adequate parking nearby as well as several quality hotels. The only downside,... More

Not a bad convention center for a medium-sized city! The location right along the river...with views out of the numerous and spacious windows........is fantastic!

The Tampa Convention Center was not built to accommodate large conventions. While its location is scenic by the river, it is inadequate for a city the size of Tampa.

Center is clean, well maintained, easily accessible by several major routes. Ample parking nearby. Easy walking distance from downtown hotels [near the Straz Center/I-275 area]
