This is a review of both the convention center and the event. I don't know who is in charge of allowing the umber of people into this event. but I attended Comicon on Sat, and this place was jammed packed to the point of it being unsafe. There were piles of folks rolling off the escalator, and piling up unto... More

This was my 3rd year going here and I love it. The vendors and artists even the other guests are all so amazing and friendly.... The price for admission was good at only 60 for 3 days....... The downside is that they are very unorganized and some of the staff for the convention are very rude and know nothing. Sat... More

The A/V issues were numerous at conference we attended. Videos did not play when called for, one failed in the middle; one speaker said, we will just tell the story and have people on the podium read the script from the failed video. Sound system was very poor; inadequate. They had small speakers set on poles which did not do... More

Across the street from the hotel. You enter downstairs to avoid the stairs. You can use the walk way at embassy suites during the day.

Attended the three day SOFIC conference. The event is very large and easily accommodates thousands of people. The main floor is expansive and there are numerous other conference and breakout rooms. The food is lackluster at best, do yourself a favor and leave the venue and cross one of the two bridges for FAR better food options. The air conditioning... More

Well thought out. Area opportunities are great. The outside views are great during breaks. The box lunch was dry but the hot dinner another day was really good (by comparison to other conference centers). It was odd to get my plate at least 10 minutes before anyone of the other persons at my table. The rooms were well controlled for... More

Great place to hold a business conference. The Convention Center is really large with a lot of space to accommodate big groups. Lunches served were mediocre and they didn't have enough for everyone attending... Coffee ran out frequently on breaks and didn't get refilled quickly enough to accommodate all the guests.

Pretty nice convention center in a pleasant location. Several decent hotels in proximity and on the water. Food service at a banquet lunch left a lot to be desired. Half of our table was served 20 minutes before the other half - even tough several people at the table got up and asked to be served. The food was decent... More

This is the BEST convention center for view. SO many water view seats. This is the WORSE food. Go to the publix across the bridge to get anything.
