I am not sure whether this is for the shopping area or the neighborhood, but it's a great place to see. But first you will have to get out of your car to get the benefit of the gorgeous early 20th century homes throughout the neighborhood. Stop into Sally O'Neal's Pizza for some of the best pizza you will ever... More

This is such an adorable little place. I just wish there was more shopping! Perfect place for a stroll with or without a family. Dog friendly and fun atmosphere. Plentiful parking and a few good restaurants. It is a very small area of shopping.

Take a look at the farmers market held in Hyde Park Village. The vendors are also super nice and the produce is delicious. Check for the fresh pasta. You can't beat it!

Came to Hyde Park to visit the Level Salon Spa to have my hair done for a wedding here while in Tampa. This is a excellent choice. Felt like I was in a upscale Los Angeles salon. Hyde Park is a cluster of shops with a well shaded park with benches to sit and relax near the water fountain as... More

Walk 3 miles to see this attraction. Modest shopping mall that wasn't very busy and not worth the effort.

Don't miss this jewel of restored homes from the early 1900's. Several blocks of beautiful and varying styles of homes and gardens. Nice splash pad fountain at the central park in the area. Free parking, enjoyable walk, plenty of shade to stay cool. We enjoyed it as much as a botanical garden.

Lived in Tampa for 20 yrs. Hyde Park is a great afternoon/evening getaway. You park the car and walk everywhere. Great boutiques..great bistro's and very charming. Concerts in the summer and carriage rides at Christmas. Look up its event calendar before going…helps to pick the right time and day you'd like to go.

This is a neighborhood made for walking - if you like Craftsman style homes, this is the place to see many. My niece lives locally and suggested we visit. We spent more than an hour wandering the streets after the Chalk Walk festival. We ended up at Bayshore Blvd. There are beautiful gardens and friendly residents too.
