Hyde Park is a charming area of Tampa filled with old craftsman houses, houses of Spanish architecture, and historic four squares mixed with modern shops and eateries. At night and on weekends the streets are alive with people strolling, walking their dogs and just visiting with each other. This is a great part of Tampa and definitely a great place... More

Hyde Park is a very nice area to walk and see the beautiful homes and great shops. Nice to enjoy lunch or dinner in that area.

Great shopping and dining area. Sur La Table is a nice addition if you are a foodie. Stroll around the shops and enjoy the atmosphere.

Great eateries and shops and they just keep getting better and better. Love that they are adding so much more to the area. Much better than going to the malls.

I like the area. It's quaint. It's interesting. It's overpriced, overblown, overthoughtof, sure, but it's a neighborhood that rightfully engenders pride in the upper scale high end maintenance of the area. Isn't that really what makes a great place, anyway? Pride in the people, the appearance, the savoir faire and character. Hyde Park is heavy on the bars and grills... More

Shopping, restaurants, architecture, Hyde Park has it all. The nice thing is you can just park your car in the garage and walk. You will walk your butt off. There is a lot to see. The buildings are beautiful. You can truly lose yourself here. AND when you get hungry there are several restaurants to choose from. It is a... More

Hyde Park is a unique neighborhood that is bordered by Bayshore Blvd (another great place to stroll). Hyde Park has a charm that is lacking in many other areas of Tampa. Older homes, nice eateries, and many shops. Not a place to spend days in but great for a day of relaxing.
