We went on the cat feeding tour on 1 January 2016 and loved the leisurely walk around the grounds as the guide fed a selection of the cats in the sanctuary. We applaud the way that they take care of the animals and how they do their best to ensure they are made comfortable. Some of the stories of these... More

I admire these folks so much for their dedication to the rescue of big cats...abused and/or hurt or just plain homeless wild cats. It's really worth the tab to see and hear the stories of each of these animals. The tour was very informative with both head sets and a human guide. By the time you've finished the tour, you... This was a great afternoon visit. Birth my husband and I enjoyed the visit. Some of the stories are so sad and I am happy that the Rescue center is here. The cats are beautiful and your entry fee feeds the cats. If it's rainy wear old shoes, it was a little muddy. It was very clean and they are... More

My brother and I took the one-hour feeding tour and absolutely loved it! We didn't feel the need to stay for the normal walking tour; felt like we had gotten plenty of info and exposure. Recommended!

Big Cat Rescue is an interesting place to tour if you are an animal lover. They house many big cats that used to be "pets" or zoo cats. The cats are gorgeous, and their habitats are pretty nice. The only thing I did not like about it was that they were a little preachy about certain aspects of big cat... More

When we visited BCR we didn't quite know what expect. The photos can be a little misleading and I didn't know if this was going to be a hard sell, to think the way they do. I wanted to be up close to the cats so much that I took the chance. I am so glad that I did. I'd... More

You can tell that the people who work at Big Cat Rescue really care about the animals! Sorry I ever doubted it. It was amazing and heartwarming to see how well the cats are cared for, as evidenced by how long they live. Not to be missed!

We took the Walking Tour. It was so wonderful to see the cats living in nice, large, grassy areas. They have great environments with places to climb and pools for the tigers. We got to see several cats playing, something you sure won't see in a circus. It was also an eye opener to learn about the places the cats... More

We were walking along with big cats on both sides of us!! We took the special morning feeding tour and the keeper tour. Both were excellent, but we think the feeding tour was just a little bit better. The cats were lively and awaiting their breakfast. We learned a lot about the big cats, and their perilous history before arriving... More
