If you like cats, you'll love big cat rescue. There are walking trails taking you by so many wild cats and sometimes you're no more than 10 feet away. It's a lot of walking on unpaved trails so it can be muddy on damp days. Pick the right time when it's not too hot and you'll have an incredible experience.

Went for my daughters birthday, and we had a fantastic time. Very informative, and the guides are super helpful. But it is a lot of walking, keep this in mind if you have small children.

Me and 3 friends went to Big Cat Resue Reserve in Citrus park (Tampa) on Saturday. You have to buy tickets and reserve Tour times and days ahead of time. We took the 10am tour and it wasn't that crowded. The people there are nice and helpful, they got it down as to how to check you in, etc. The... More

I applaud the work that BCR is doing. The care that they provide for these cats is to be commended. Please visit these guys, make a donation, sponsor an animal and help the cause.

You get so much personalization and it supports a good cause. it is pretty hot in FL, but the experience is second to none. Bring some extra cash and your cameras. For only $1 you can feed a bear or goats, for a few dollars... More

Have toured the Big Cat Rescue three times so far and enjoy going through each time we are in the Tampa area. The facility is well maintained and the dedicated staff are friendly and full of knowledge about the history of each cat. Walking tour so wear comfortable shoes.
