We went to both tours and was very disappointed. In the regular tour, you were rushed from one cat to another. They didn't have many different breeds of cats. The tour guides were not friendly. Had to stay in a tight group. The cats are in small inclosures and some are very stressed out. It didn't seem like much of a... More

This place is a must for animal lovers. My family was very inspired by this places mission. This sanctuary provides a wonderful life for these majestic cats. The tigers and female lion were our favorite.

Unfortunately, we were unable to actually visit this attraction during our stay in the Tampa area. We had picked up a brochure at a local store and the price per person in that brochure was $29 per person. When I called the phone number on the brochure to make a reservation I was told the price was now $36 per... More

I have been to Big Cat a few times. This time was different from what I remember. The new tour set up includes a headset and vox box so you can hear your tour guide and listen to prerecorded stories of how the cat got to Big Cat. I do miss the tour guides telling you the stories instead of... More

What a great experience my wife and I had taking a tour of Big Cat Rescue. Our tour guide was fantastic and they do a wonderful job of taking care of the cats they bring in. Every dollar you spend goes towards caring for and feeding these beautiful animals. We will definitely be going back for another tour and will... More

Great opportunity to see and learn about the Big Cats and the rescue and recovery process. Very educational and the staff are knowledgeable. You can tell they really have a passion for what they do and for how they care for these animals.

We take a tour with the Big Cats every time we are in Florida. It's a fantastic organization that does an extremely good job of looking after big cats that have no choice but to remain in captivity. BCR do their utmost to treat all the animals in their care with respect & dignity as well as campaigning hard to... More

Lots of reviews, giving lots of detail, and I guess if you've never seen a Lion, Tiger or the other big cats, you'll be blown away by this place. However, I have seen Lions and Tigers, very up close in their natural habitat and so I came to BCR with a different view to the majority... The result therefore was... More

Big Cat rescue is a wonderful place to visit and to see what an amazing habitat these people have created for large cats that have been rescued from horrible conditions, retired from carnivals or a circus. You get a guided tour and you get to see how each animal has a large enclosure with trees and grass so it gives... More
