Adventure Island is one of the smaller water parks in FL. It's dated and the rides are nothing to talk about. The bag check area sometimes they check sometimes they don't. Food is ok but costly. You can bring in a cooler no bigger than 15 inches length and height. You can bring your own drinks and food. The beach... More

We have purchased a weekday pass every year for the last 4 years but this is my first review. My two boys (7 and 3) nearly always have a great time with rarely a complaint other than uneven water temps between sections. I still can't understand why the coldest water is ALWAYS at the sections the youngest kids are at?!... More

The ground, the Wave pool/Lazy river, and the bathrooms are disgusting!! Everything else is awesome, but they seriously have to do something about the dirtiness. I thought it would just be one time but the last 3 times have been so dirty. Hire more cleaning staff!

This is just an average water park. Unlike other reviewers I thought the park and bathrooms were clean and the staff friendly. Lazy river water was shallow, but we did enjoy the regular pool.

Great place, lots of varied water attractions, lazy river is awesome, has shade, plenty of parking, only downside was restrooms, smelled awful, and we were there when the park opened! Highly suggest wearing water shoes, being barefoot was gross!!!

Adventure Island is a lot of fun. Go during the week for less crowds and early in the morning or late in the evening. Also, go during the school year, the teens aren't there.

Our first time was last week, and we had a blast! Only negatives were the staff needs to be more attentive to the trash pickup and bathroom cleaning, and some of the lifeguards seem like they're only there for the paycheck, not to do any actual lifeguard duties. But the slides were so much fun, no super long waits (even... More

The worst experience I have ever had. This was the first time I had been to this park. My wife wanted to ride the Colossal Curl first. The first turn we hit my wife was thrown from the tube into the water. She was so terrified as she helplessly was flailing around taking in mouthfuls of water while screaming for... More

We've lived in the Tampa area for over 20 years, and this year decided to get passes to Adventure Island. After four visits, we're calling the summer a wash and probably not returning. While I thought many of the rides were fun as a kid, j feel like the place is deteriorating and poorly managed. One positive is my husband... More

Just the highlights: Pros 1. Very clean 2. No loud music. 3. Food and drink available everywhere! 4. Smaller than the map would have you believe - a good thing. 5. You may take coolers, but there is a size limitation. 6. Buy a wristband for any amount of money - use it anywhere - and - get any unused... More
