My family and I have been there several times, and we always have fun on the water rides, doing fun things and just hanging out.

If you love water rides or just chilling in a tube on the lazy river this is perfect for you. It has activities for small kids to teenagers and adults. Bring water shoes though because the ground does get slippery and a snack because the food is kind of sucky there

Although some of the older attractions here are starting to really show their age, the park, in general, is in good order and my kids don't seem to care about the aging attractions. I've been coming here since I was small so it feels like it's gotten HUGE with all the new rides but really the park is small and... More

Adventure Island is a great waterpark in the Tampa area. It is right across the street from Busch Gardens. It is only open about 6 months out of the year and offers many water rides for all ages. The rock cliff diving is one of our kids favorites! They have many different water slides and a wave pool. They do... More

None of the rides blew me away but it was still a good experience. I wish I could use a surf board in the wave pool!

Decided to drive to Adventure Island during the "FREE" day associated with our Busch Gardens passes. Needless to say, (But I will), What a rip-off! Only one-quarter of the slides, etc. were operating. Not even the Large swimming pool or "Lazy River" were opened! The excuse was, "Most of the lifeguards didn't show-up for work." Oh really? Why couldn't some... More

Yeah, it's, it's meh. It isn't super spatcular. You want a good water park? Go to disney, seriously. Want to avoid the crowd and save money? Go to aquatica. Want similar priced same area fun? Go to Busch Gardens, it's ALOT more fun and right next to it. Also take note that they are closed for something around half of... More

Good things first.. We loved it ( me , my 6yr old, my Husband and my friends )... Fun rides, average clean place, and friendly staff. Most of the rides are safe for small children and lot of fun too. Not so good things: Half of the rides were closed on the day we visited , but still we were... More

This waterpark was a lot of fun, and there were tons of options for all ages to enjoy. The only downside is that the layout is a bit confusing, and the cement they use for the sidewalks gets hot enough to burn your feet. Definitely consider bringing water shoes of some sort. It would be nice if they placed more... More

Lots of fun child friendly rides. We love hanging out at the wave pool and children's fort. If you have small children you are allowed to go down the slides with them at most places. Remember to bring sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses because you will be in the sun constantly. There is an absence of shaded areas. The lines for... More
